The service offered by the owner and family impeccable. We arrived late due to flight issues and they couldn't have been more accommodating with our late check in... due to various reasons they also helped us with transport issues whilst we were in town and they made me the best breakfast I had in a very long time.

The hosts were lovely, warm locals with friendly, delicious and efficient breakfast service which was wonderful to wake up to! I enjoyed the room and bathroom facilities which were cosy country style and very warm as soon as you entered the home from the outside chill in winter! I highly recommend as a great place to stay!

Beautiful location and the accommodation (caravan) was clean and comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub and sauna were great and made for a very chilled stay.

Very atmospheric place to stay, with lovely, cosy interior! The cottage has old (in a good way!) and traditional feel to it, with all of the modern comforts you might need. We stayed there in October, with the outside temperatures on the lower side, and inside was so lovely and warm! Additionally, working log burner added extra warmth and cosiness in the living area. Kim, whom I’ve liaised with regarding the cottage, was very nice and helpful throughout. The location was also fantastic, only short drive to Edinburgh and beautiful Pentland Hills reserve. I’d definitely visit again!

Covington is a small rural village which gives its name to the surrounding area. The towns of Lanark and Biggar are equally eight miles away. Excellently placed for walking and fishing on the river clyde.
