The reception was very friendly and kind to my questions and inquiries, The town was full of film making for spiderman, so there were so many road closures which made me stranded. they were nice to explain to me earlier about the closures. The hotel has a laundry service including dryer. it was great and convenient. The weather in Glasgow was fairly hot. I was sweating while walking under the sunshine.

This was the highlight of our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, especially if you appreciate the charm of a historic property. The staff were wonderful, and everything was made easy for us by the lady at the reception. The room was a dream, with very comfortable beds, a lovely bathroom, and plenty of parking space. Overall, a truly beautiful hotel. Highly recommended!

Lovely wee town with numerous bars, cafe's and gift shops.

Lovely wee town with numerous bars, cafe's and gift shops. Take aways too. Quite easy to get to from either the west or east coast. Most places were dog friendly. Good walks nearby. Nice for a few days away.

Hamilton centre has really gone downhill.

Hamilton centre has really gone downhill. Full of vape shops and pretty scruffy. We only stayed in the area for a local wedding. Nothing like the lovely place it was years ago, and not too many places to go to if you were hoping for a good night out.

We were lucky to be early as the Carvery is very popular and the car park filled up quickly with every type of vehicle, including a lorry, so it's a good pointer to how good the restaurant is. The rooms are comfortable and you cannot beat a Toby carvery for great food, cooked well and with plenty of vegetables to keep most folks happy. To top it all we had a superb pudding and went for a relax afterwards to let the food go down and to chill out after a long journey from the Midlands and to prepare for the 2nd leg of our Journey To Dornock where we were guests at a long time friends son. Because of our long journey to Motherwell and the need for rest to prepare for the next days long 2nd leg we, unfortunately. didn't have the luxury to look around Motherwell and it would need another visit to find enough time to see the sights.

Overall really enjoyed the stay.

Overall really enjoyed the stay. All staff were very helpful. A little awkward sitting with breakfast plates in lounge, could have done with a couple of higher tables. Generally easy to get around East Kilbride..

Whether your trip is for business or leisure, there is...

Whether your trip is for business or leisure, there is plenty to see and do in Lanark. The location is restful and quiet with fields and sheep lining the country roads. Plenty of pubs / restaurants around with the town centre only 10-15 minutes drive for access to supermarkets, indian restaurants, off license, etc. The Inn on the Loch is a great place to eat with a varied menu at reasonable prices with friendly staff and the park around the loch is within a great setting next to a golf course with a park for kids, runners and a good dog walking area.

The Hotel was very comfortable and clean and within easy...

The Hotel was very comfortable and clean and within easy access to many tourist attractions, the staff were friendly and helpful. The fact the hotel had a swimming pool and spa facilities made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.

I was surprised for that suite quality for the money spent. The place is clean for the weddings and events with Tesla charging and ambient parking space with lots of amenities. The breakfast was tastier with the greater quality of service

Easy check-in. Clean room. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast. I will think twice about taking my family here though...especially at weekends. there was a party playing very loud music until 4am. Quite disrespectful. Don't mind it going on until 1am but, most of the night?

Biggar is not a touristy place which is part of its charm.

Biggar is not a touristy place which is part of its charm. Plenty of shops and a fantastic museum on the main street. Good pub grub in the two pubs we tried. Bus to Edinburgh was lovely as didn’t want to drive there. Fare was reasonable and a good timetable.
