Hotel in Cullompton
Located in the beautiful Culm Valley, Padbrook Park Hotel is located at the southern end of Cullompton in the Devon countryside. The hotel was lovely, just as described. They were welcoming to my little dog, which says a lot to me about the calibre of the staff. As for the staff they are the kindest, most thoughtful and well trained in customer service staff I have ever met and I have been around the world on different hotels. Absolutely was nothing too much trouble for them. What amazed me was how they managed to keep such a personal touch in a large hotel. I have already recommended them since coming home.

With stunning views overlooking the Culm Valley, Highdown Farm Holiday Cottages are located on an organic dairy farm, one mile between the towns of Cullompton and Bradninch. Warm, friendly, beautifully appointed cottage. Log burner with masses of dry wood. Wonderful walks on doorstep. Comfortable and didn't want to leave.
Cullompton itself is dreadful, however the property is not in Cullompton itself, it is a couple of miles outside. This does not effect the stay at Newcourt Barton whatsoever which is in Langford. Langford and Newcourt Barton is EXCELLENT.
The staff are so attentive & always have a smile The rooms are clean & perfect for what we require The restaurant menu was great & the prices are in line for today We are definitely going to book again. 100%
We enjoyed The Donkey Sanctuary VERY much (whole reason for our trip) Absolutely worthwhile FREE day out. We travelled right along the coast road from Lyme Regis to Exmouth a somewhat hairy journey along the narrow lanes. BUT enjoyable never-the-less. WE ate at The Blacksmiths Arms one night & found a Carvery Pub the second night whilst we were journeying home. Budleigh Salterton beach was very nice as was out Cream Tea at the beach cafe' in Beer (Duckies)
The Inn is a few miles outside Cullumpton. You drive through narrow country lanes to reach it. Just the Inn & houses in Buttlerleigh that we saw, probably good walking but we were out & about in the car
We came to Cullompton to attend a wedding at the St Andrew's parish church. A very interesting building with attractive and unusual ceilings and screen. The town, itself, is small but pleasant and we would have enjoyed exploring for another day.
At the moment there is a lot of roadworks on the main road through the town but it is accessible on foot. There are a lot of local shops and places to eat. The bus service is regular and transport into Exeter is good. There are some pleasant walks in and around the area.
A warm welcome from friendly reception staff; We had a lovely first-floor room at the front of the building with an extremely comfortable king-size bed. A shower in the spotlessly clean en-suite helped relax us at the end of a tiring drive. We had a first-class evening meal in the hotel dining room, served by attentive waiters. Breakfast was all you'd expect at this quality hotel. A bowl, blanket and mat were provided for our dog, who could be walked within the hotel grounds.
The price was so reasonable thatmy expectations were lower. This is a simply beautiful little hotel, everthing was beautifully decorated and presented. The room wasn’t large but perfectly adequate and seeing as I booked a ‘small double room’ I was happy. the wet room was small but likewise, worked well, looked beatiful and brilliant value for money. Very highly recommended. Staff so helpful too.
