Quite a wealthy feel about the area with good pubs offering...
Quite a wealthy feel about the area with good pubs offering really great food and drink. Easy access from London and Derbyshire. Good combo of town and country feel. Would recommend The Red Lion, ate there twice, Sunday lunch very good.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely country hotel although close to all the town amenities. Enjoyed the leisure center pool and other facilities.
There is a Weather Spoons pub in town with nice food reasonably priced. There is also a country park well worth a visit not too far away.
Daventry itself is easy to navigate.

Lovely farm houses and old country homes and pubs.
Lovely farm houses and old country homes and pubs. Daventry more developed with several shopping areas. Area worth exploring by car or foot. People seem friendly and polite, even on the roads. Ate at a local pub in Hellidon (where the accomodation was), which was ok. Thank goodness for Google Maps for negotiating small country roads especially at night. General area worth exploring, including Royal Leamington Spa.

I'm staying and working close to Daventry, (in chipping...
I'm staying and working close to Daventry, (in chipping warden), so cant really comment properly, but what i will say is from where i have been that the Tesco superstore was 8 mins from the hotel i was staying at which i super convenient when coming back from work as it basically on the way back.

The only disappointment though nothing to reflect on...
The only disappointment though nothing to reflect on Staverton Hotel and Golf club the local taxi firm very unreliable
Many guests booked through this company also disappointed bad time keeping
Booked Friday evening for a taxi on Saturday late morning didn’t arrive
another couple booked with same company (during Saturday morning)attending same wedding venue their taxi 15 minutes late hence we travelled together
The taxi firm lacks organisation pre booking a taxi is a waste of time

The hotel is in aa lovely location good golf course swimming pool and gym looked really good but didn't use breakfast was really good but hotel is let down by shabbiness feel walking to the room but overall we had arally good stay.

Hotel was easy to locate. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and tidy with all amenities included. (Towels l, tea, coffee, tv, wifi, iron and ironing board. Breakfast buffet has a very good selection at a reasonable price and there’s a reasonably priced restaurant and bar, serving a good selection of hot food items, from main meals to small plates.

Tbh, it was above our expectations. Our double room was comfy & spacious. The view of the lake from the dining room is lovely. And so are the grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our group enjoyed the experience. We would definitely stay again.

Exceptional!! Should be 5*+! .. Beautiful Hotel, top notch staff, high end food, stunning surroundings, relaxing spa and spectacular rooms. This hotel is the perfect retreat for relaxation. The staff are on level if not better than some of the best hotels in London.. I would highly recommend this beautiful place

the Hotel was chosen based on location and EV charging. The EV charging was very reasonably priced, but you do need reception to action.. The restaurant was fully booked so couldn't eat in there and (no surprise) the bar area was full. So the only space was in the reception area.
The breakfast was very good.
