Deal is a classy seaside town. Lots of pubs and restaurants and cute coffee shops. History and interesting information everywhere. Very friendly locais and great parking. What more could you ask for.
I travel the UK & Ireland with my work and this is one of the best places that I have stopped at, better than some 4 & 5 Star hotels that i have stopped. The staff, room, food, service and breakfast were all excellent.
Deal is a lovely place to walk/cycle along the lovely sea front. Nice restaurants and the pier a must to explore and sit to enjoy the scenery. Deal has litter bags you can use and is a very clean place..
Difficult to say as I was born in Deal and for a holiday destination it would be great as it is accessible to many attractions both in the town and outside. The beach is really good if you do not mind pebbles. It is easy to get around as it is flat and both Deal and Walmer castles are very interesting and both different.
Plenty of nice restuarants & bars along the seafront.I think the atmosphere is great ! nice walks along the front , the beach was not overcrowded.if you are looking for a relaxing weekend Deal is the place to go.
Deal is a lovely, quaint seaside town a few miles from the international port at Dover. It is a place with a lot of special memories for me as a lot of my ancestors were born there and/or grew up there. It was lovely to see some of the sites associated with my family’s history such as the Colebrook Sturrock estate agents on Walmer Strand, which was once the old International Stores where my great grandad was manager and where my grandad lived during the summer of 1940 and where he left to be evacuated to Wales. Next door but one is the lovely church of St Saviours where my grandad was christened and my cousin twice removed was married. The beach is clean and tidy and the coast of France can be seen on a clear day. Will never be able to recommend Deal enough. Will never tire of the place and can’t wait to return.

My wife and I stayed here and cannot recommend the location enough. The room was absolutely immaculate and the bed was so comfortable we found it hard to get up the next morning. The owners couldn’t be more accommodating, giving lots of information on places to visit as well as places to eat. The breakfast provided can only be likened to that provided in a 5 star hotel. A big thank you to Helga and her husband for the wonderful experience, we will certainly be back.
Hotel on very front, close to pier. Everything in walking distance. Shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and the fresh sea air. Stayed in room 8. Up the very top. Lovely big bed, very comfortable. Room clean. A traditional accommodation at the seaside! Don't expect ultra modern, it's located well, and the stay was enjoyed. Breakfast was ok. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that.

The location was superb. Just a short walk across the road to the beach. The view out to sea from the front upstairs room was great. We took our afternoon tea there looking across the sea to France. We brought our bikes with us an the owner agreed to our keeping them under cover at the rear of the house. The house as clean and comfortable. Ideal for a few days away from the bustle of London.

The property was immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. The hosts Virginia and Andre were very welcoming and provided some nice little additional comforts, which really made it feel like home form home. Deal itself was lovely and the location of property is very central, plus close to the train station to allow exploration of surrounding area without the car. Great little find.

The hotel was much smarter than ones you often get in British seaside towns, and our room (especially the huge, comfy bed) exceeded our expectations. Only a 15 minute walk to the coast and town, plus lots of options for breakfast, as well as helpful and friendly staff (they offered to pick us up and drop us off at the train station!) - a great place to stay if you're visiting Deal.
The hotel is right on the beach with parking next to it. We had a lovely big room, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a nice large shower and was very clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. We would definitely try to stay there again on our next Deal visit.
Very friendly and welcoming. Accommodated late arrival Sunday night. Gave me free upgrade from single to double room as staying 2 nights. Great breakfast with home made smoothie. Good WiFi, quiet road in Deal, a little tricky to find their road but satnav sorted it.
Carley was great! Our package delivery went very smoothly. The air conditioning was the very best. We are an old Deal family back for a reunion. Forty-four of us. Seeing cousins from England, Canada, and USA.

Lovely location ideally situated on the sea front. Friendly staff, lovely clean room and super pub food. A great pub/hotel with lots of old world charm sadly lacking in newer pubs.
We stayed one night at the start of a cycling tour. Great location, right next to Deal pier. The staff were very helpful and kindly let us store our bikes. Good breakfast.
