Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff

Excellent Sunday Lunch and good choice in restaurant in evening. Very quite with large car park.

Friendly staff - excellent breakfast and comfortable bed. Shower and wash facilities very good. The lady who served breakfast was wonderful. Great views across to the sea from the garden.

I absolutely loved everything about Louma. The food is outstanding – you can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the all-inclusive concept makes the whole experience so effortless, as you don’t have to worry about a thing. The wellness area is incredible, and the gym is even better equipped than my regular one! But what makes Louma truly special is the people and the place itself. It feels magical – with stunning sea views, a calming and friendly atmosphere, and impeccable yet cozy décor. Travelling with a baby, I was deeply impressed by how well-equipped Louma is for families. They provided everything: a baby monitor, crib, bath tub, toiletries, diaper bin, high chair… every detail was thought of. As new parents, it’s such a joy to be able to enjoy a luxury retreat with all the comfort and elegance we love, without compromising on peace of mind or packing endless baby gear. Louma is, without a doubt, one of the best luxury retreats for parents with good taste, who love to enjoy life and share it with their kids.

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay at Fernhill Hotel. Staff were so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Despite us arriving before we were supposed to check in, we were welcomed inside to settle in and make ourselves at home.  The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and well stocked with a range of hot beverages, the home made biscuits were a delicious touch too.  Nothing is too much trouble, just ask and they will happily oblige. The pool was a great attraction, especially as it's heated which takes the chill off and is a comfortable swimming temperature. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options and totally customisable.  We didn't have evening meals but did ask for room service one evening and they made us up some food which was wonderful and much appreciated, as I gather it's not the norm.  Thank you again for our lovely stay. It was a great choice of hotel and made my birthday weekend a special one to remember.  The hotel is a couple of miles from Lyme Regis which we found to be the closest place for a small Tesco and some shops.  The area is quite hilly too so anyone with mobility issues might struggle. Lyme Regis, aside from the promenade, certainly wouldn't be suitable for mobility scooters due to its steep incline.  There are some lovely places to visit along the Jurassic Coast.  A bus is available from the bottom of the hotels drive which takes you many places. Taxis I understand can be a bit hit and miss. We were not let down by our prearranged lifts, but there is no Uber so I'd recommend making return taxi arrangements with one of the local firms so you don't get stranded. 

I absolutely loved the historic charm of this 18th-century building, along with the excellent breakfast and the warm hospitality of the owners. The location is ideal, as the beach and all the local amenities are just a short walk away

Very good position, lovely breakfast delivered in room. The host are absolutely fantastic and very kind. No complain at all. Our room was clean and cozy.
