Absolutely everything. I was part of the Rhodesian Light Infantry group, and we will return, most definitely. Venue, facilities, food, staff and value were absolutely first-class. The ladies behind the bar worked flat-out.

Lovely hosts that were easy to message and quick to reply. The room had a lovely garden view, comfortable beds and a well thoughtout kitchenette with induction stove and airfrier which was great to cook some basic meals. The location was great with lots of walks nearby and only 30 minutes from the coast.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin, it is very well equipped, clean and in a beautiful setting. In our busy lives it was lovely to be able to relax and enjoy the quiet time. The cabin was exactly as described.

The property was clean and as shown on the photos. Cara was such a lovely host and waited for us even though we were checking in late in the evening. The breakfast was fantastic!

The bungalow was spacious, modern & super clean, with washing machine, dishwasher & fridge freezer. The 2 bathrooms meant that partner & I could have one each. It also had 2 living spaces - one through lounge/diner & kitchen and a small living room, as well as a nice patio & outdoor space to chill out with an aperitif before an easy walk into Honiton Town centre.

Beautiful, cosy cabin! We were so comfortable and made so welcome. Thank you so much for the fresh milk and eggs, it was a lovely surprise when we arrived. Sitting out on the veranda in the evenings was so relaxing and peaceful. The only downside was we just stayed for 2 nights...we would have really loved to stay for longer!

It's a rural village on the edge of Honiton, the signs for the Lakeview Manor are dreadful on the road and the satnav and Google are just as bad. Dunkeswell is a pretty place, not much to do here. Expect to go for a relaxing break, fishing, walking and dog walking if you bring a dog, Artist painting. I also went for something different to paint. We used a car, you do need a mode of transport, someone had a bike and was coping with some of the paths rather than the main road and lanes. There is alot of woodland in the area ad it isn't very flat either.

Wonderful place with very friendly staff.

Wonderful place with very friendly staff. Julie and Zara were extremely helpful and offered to help in anyway. A warm welcome from the moment we walked in. The room was an upgrade and had a lovely view of the lake.

A very beautiful place but we had gone with the intention of walking but unfortunately there wasn’t really any walks we could do from the site. We expected to be able to do king signposted walks from the site across fields etc but the only one we was told about would mean walking along a lot of no pavement roads

This hotel is NOT for DISABLED!

This hotel is NOT for DISABLED! This hotel is not for fine dining. Room was always warm and well-appointed for able bodied folk. This site is for pet lovers, able bodied. I was disabled so required to be driven from the room to and from the restaurant, as I said this is no place for the ambulatory challenged as much of the site is heavily large gravelled paths making it impossible to use my wheelchair. The fact that we were roomed up a graveled hill of steep incline, another reason we felt imprisoned when in our room. As a note for all disabled people booking new hotels use booking agents AFTER you have spoken directly with site management.

Close to south coast if you don’t mid a 30 min car journey.

Close to south coast if you don’t mid a 30 min car journey. We went to Lyme Regis for the day which was cracking. We ate at a place called the waters edge cafe in Lyme which was spot on not cheap but you get what you pay for brilliant experience friendly staff and food was amazing it’s a tiny little place down a back street you wouldn’t even know was there. Seaton was nice for a walk as well early evening. Lots of shops near by and fuel stations. It is easy to get around dunkeswell as long as your not in a rush rural setting area of natural beauty.
