The crown was in an idle location for a trip to Harrogate. Very central. The staff varied from very pleasant to perfunctory.

This hotel is spotlessly clean and has lovely helpful staff. The furnishings are lovely. Yes, the bathroom needs updating but it is perfectly serviceable .We had a Superior room which was huge and again had very comfortable furniture. The evening meals were beautifully presented and tasted even better than they looked.

We were upgraded to a suite, so we had lots of room and it was a very nice room.
Byron Bar features oak panelling and an historic fireplace. The Courtyard Restaurant has a fine menu, and oak beams. Each en suite room at The Bridge has digital TV.

Nice outdoor seating areas. Bar was spacious with plenty of seating. Hotel was in a very quiet area with plenty of free parking. Staff were pleasant.
