Well located for a stopover. Exceptional breakfast - one of the best we had when touring Wales. Charming building, room perfectly equipped. The little fridge ist extremely helpful. Dinner at Dexter's is highly recommended. Brilliant food and wine!

Amazing place to stay. The owners Bec and Pete were super friendly and welcoming. They have a cool games room downstairs with pool and darts. The building itself is charming and had some nice ales on tap Great value for money and good advice given on where to grab food in town. Room was clean and comfortable... Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Laugharne 🙏🙏

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms have been refurbished and had the best night sleep Food was very good and so was breakfast We travel the length of the country and stay in four hotels a week and only give a review when the place we stay in is outstanding. Thank you

The location was chosen to be near family as we prefer a rural site which is still close to a shop for essentials and pub for eating. I grew up by a village farm so understand the hard work farmers do in looking after their livestock. For us this was perfect, home from home. The cooker unit is a great design.

It was an amazing break away, we came as a family of 4, for my sons 3rd birthday and every part was an amazing experience, there were details in every through from the toilet paper to a welcome kit. We had an amazing time and will be returning!

The property was warm, comfortable, very well-appointed and spacious. The property owner popped by to say hello and it was very much appreciated. He was warm and friendly. No complaints whatsoever and hoping to stay at the Old Carriage Court again - would love to have time to explore the grounds and to take a closer look at the stunning mansion ruins.

It's a lovely looking Hotel tucked out of the way.

It's a lovely looking Hotel tucked out of the way. The room was large with a four-poster bed and a great view. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good. There is plenty of room for meals and two Bars. The Gym and swimming pool with sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi are available. There is a Village Pub and Shop up the road.

A random booking in an unknown part of Carmarthenshire, but...

A random booking in an unknown part of Carmarthenshire, but a joy to discover...i wrote to friends - the Spot that Time Forgot. Ferryyside is a ribbon development area along the banks of the estuary...so glorious views - see from our room. Local shop is a Steptoe mix of treasures an essentials. Possible walks for all grades, chatty helpful locals and Carmarthen or Llanelli by train IF you need everyday life!!! IF you venture to swim in the sea - beware to enormous jellyfish...many to be seen strewn along the shoreline after high tide!!!

We were doing the Wild Drovers Way, Carmarthenshire - and Ferryside was one of the last spots/villages on the route; so we were happy to book at this property. The bed was really comfy. Good ensuite. Quiet location. Close to railway and a small beach. Breakfast was continental style and left in the fridge in the room. It was fine. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We had a brilliant evening meal at the Three Rivers Hotel which was a 15-20 minutes walk away (or 5 mins in the car).

The premises are run for the benefit of the Ferryside community. There are several little businesses in this broad complex and everyone we met was absolutely charming and really friendly. Our room was really quite big, very clean, and our own seating area outside which would have been great for keeping an eye on a dog. Nice views from the room and everything very clean.

This hotel is simply beautiful 😍 it's quite unique the staff are amazing and friendly very helpful nothing is too much trouble. The food was outstanding. And it was all very reasonable too. Can't wait to return. 5 *****
