The hotel is set in a stunning country backdrop. Very peaceful, very quiet. Breakfast was great. The young lad running the bar was also polite, courteous, and chatty. Nice guy.

I loved that Josh from reception is very customer service oriented and every time that we returned to this hotel he did his best to help us with reservations, with bookings for the car. Whatever we would have asked him he did his best to come with a suggestion or an answer in the shortest time. Me and my colleagues felt so relieved when we saw that he was on duty because it made all the time our check in so fast and for us really means a lot as we are not having always a long rest in between duties. Congratulations Josh.

Great value for money and a very comfortable hotel. The Indian restaurant associated with the hotel is first class and the overall service from all staff (reception, restaurant, bar) was very friendly and efficient.

The staff were the real stars ,friendly and always attentive. Breakfast along with all the other meals in the restaurant were first class. We will definitely return.

The room was cosy and comfortable. I have never seen such a varied Gluten Free menu, which takes the stress from having to look through Allergy Charts. Thank you SO much, it was a joy to stay and eat at the Red Lion and to be served by polite friendly staff.

So cozy and the bed was really comfortable, extremely welcoming staff. Near to the train station and to the buss.

Comfortable and idyllic. Had a great sleep in a cozy bed and the bathroom was tidy and the shower was great. Also the surroundings were so beautiful and the staff was lovely.
