The hotel is set in a stunning country backdrop. Very peaceful, very quiet. Breakfast was great. The young lad running the bar was also polite, courteous, and chatty. Nice guy.

I grew up in Fleet from 1948 to 1968 before leaving the UK, working and living in Europe. We lived in the large old house next to the Church in Church Road, so I knew the Lismoyne Hotel. My first Ball was there on New Years Eve 1963 with my first boyfriend, and that is a very fond memory. Fleet has changed enormously, being practically newly built in the intervening time, often unrecognisable despite my having visited friends there often over the years. I hope to be back after Xmas this year and would like to celebrate the New Year 2027 at the Hotel with my friends!.

General convenience of external facilities, All needs were close at hand, i.e. car chargers, food stores etc. Close proximity to more sophisticated restaurants etc. The only criticism I have, was that these Days Inn services were only easily car accessible from the southbound M3, otherwise a Northbound detour is required via the nearest "crossover"

local Gulshan Indian to be given a wide berth overpriced and didn't understand English too well. The local pub the Oatsheaf served Doom bar and had a lovely back garden well shaded but still sunny with helpful staff ,though no sandwiches or small meals on offer at weekends crisps only or a very large garlic pizzetta!!, Town appears to have its usual smattering of local shops and amenities.

Almost opposite the Lismoyne Hotel is All Saints Church - a splendid Victorian church with a distinctive difference! Worth a in depth look to find out more about its fascinating history and the community love to bring it back to life after the horrific arson attack several years ago!

The town had a fantastic amount of cafes and eating places. Lots of different shops along the high street. Very attractive area with lots of woodlands areas/trees. Also the train station was within walking distance. Around the area are lots of different towns to it and a good number of hotels.

Covert Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable home from home. For us, it was the perfect base to stay for a wedding at the nearby Elvetham Hotel. Plenty of parking. Excellent communication from the hosts. Great!
