The manager’s service was beyond my expectations. Went out if his way to provide me with a lovely room that was so comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. He went above and beyond on a very busy night due to Ascot races patrons booking in. I really appreciated the care, friendliness and service provided by all of the staff while I waited for my room. I had a late checkout and the quiet and peace was amazing! The grounds were lovely and obviously the whole hotel is being taken care of and refurbished so nicely! Even the security guys were helpful and very friendly. I would love to stay there again. It has history and elegance if it’s time. Absolutely loved my stay. The staff where extremely helpful and friendly, I had real trouble with my car rental company and staff let me use the reception's phone for the entire day (anyone seeing this review please I strongly recommend DO NOT USE TURO) and the night shift reception guy Richard was a real life saver giving me a lift to a proper car rental company in the morning so I could get on with my holiday and even packed me a full lunch for the Goodwood festival of speed. The place itself was lovely, excellent breakfast with a wide variety of food to choose from, loved the pond they had with the ducks and deers, and they had a lovely pub at the property.

Breakfast lovely and a great start to our day. Location was in middle of Odiham, great for driving surrounding areas. Staff very friendly. We stayed in the family room which had bunk beds for my two children. Low ceilings, wooden joists, different levels to the flooring, all made us appreciate the historic building we were staying in. Would definitely stay here again.

Fir tree lodge room 8 not fit for purpose.

Fir tree lodge room 8 not fit for purpose. Noise heard from neighbouring rooms and bed stuck against wall! Whole hotel is very dated and a bit too business/conference based rather than comfy/cosy country hotel which it should be. Staff very friendly though and breakfast was enjoyable.

The White Hart Was a great choice for us for a couple of...

The White Hart Was a great choice for us for a couple of nights. We were room only so can’t comment on the breakfast but we eat there in the evening and it was all good. We could recommend Hook Tandoori and Cafe Baristas for breakfast. There’s not a lot in the village but Farnham is not far and a lovely Town.

The look of the County Hotel is exceptional.

The look of the County Hotel is exceptional. The surroundings are picturesque. Rooms are good. The reception is very welcoming. Car park has plenty of spaces. The disabled car parking spaces are very near to the Reception entrance, which was very convenient. Free wifi. Not too far from the hustle bustle of London. I should have known from the price that it would not be to...

I should have known from the price that it would not be to the standard I expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size but the bathroom was small and a bit dated. Set in extensive grounds. We decided to eat there and were delighted to find that they offered a normal menu as well as an Indian menu. My wife is a vegitarian and likes Indian food but was disappointed in dishes available for her. Her pompadoms were served after her main and she left them. I had a steak but the chips were very over cooked. The waitress gave me a free glass of wine to compensate. Breakfast was not nice. The tables were left uncleared and I had to join a long queue to get a cup of coffee. We would only stay there again if we were desparate.

A beautiful building, the hosts were so friendly and our room was lovely. The gardens surrounding the house were lovely. The breakfast was really nice, we would definitely stay here again, it was wonderful.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Hook, we stayed at Warbrook...

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Hook, we stayed at Warbrook House (a stunning yet affordable heritage hotel) where we spent the afternoon exploring the grounds and ate at the restaurant which was very pleasant. The next day we went to West Green House Gardens which was absolutely delightful! We didn’t want to leave. We spent our final evening in the ‘Tally Ho’ for dinner which was delicious with great service too. We will definitely return for another trip as there were many beautiful areas and walking routes which we didn’t get round to exploring.

The room was standard as expected with a hotel. I had a good night sleep. The water for the shower and the bath was powerful. The breakfast was a yummy buffet. We used the swimming pool facilities including the sauna and the steam room which were brilliant. The staff were smiley and welcoming across the facilities which was great. We wanted extra pillows for the room (only 1 per person in the room) and they accommodated quickly. Asked for a room away from any events - they were having a wedding - and this was accommodated to also.

I had a great stay at Highfield Park. The staff were very helpful, both on the phone and in person, and I liked that they seem genuinely friendly, not in a fake, over-the-top way. It was really refreshing. The room was very clean and very comfy, and I loved the historic building and all of its beautiful features. The grounds were very grand, and there was plenty of free parking. Oh, and the hotel has a very cute cat!
