Extremely good value for money and situated in the countryside surrounded by beautiful scenery and countryside livestock. Really quiet and peaceful. Nicely set up of the cabins 5 in all. Pretty much left to get on with things and settle in. We had a barbie and seating just next to it so we can we joy the view and heat at the same it. Brilliant just great value add bonus is you have the shower and toilet and sink built into pod. They have an honesty shed with is a brilliant idea if you did forget something they have the basic stuff. Loved it so much I going to go back again.

An amazing house! It was really big with very spacious rooms. Plenty of bathrooms for the size of house. Even though the lounge was big, it felt cosy. Beds extremely comfortable. Carol was so lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you.

Breakfast was excellent. We ate everything served and left nothing on the plate. Most enjoyed conversation with other guests from European countries. Was a very precious opportunity for us travelling from Tokyo to meet and talk with such people at the big common table while having breakfast. The hosts were most friendly, very helpful and professional to make our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. The facilities were kept clean, just like top-rated international hotels, and estate itself was in the midst of the green woods, fresh natural air and with a bit of Scottish historic flavour.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Sadly we only spent one night as we were on a tight itinerary, but the staff were really friendly, the location was excellent and the room warm and cozy. The bar has so much character and the breakfast was delicious for a good price. Highly recommend it. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Forres is a lovely friendly town.

Forres is a lovely friendly town. It has lots of shops to browse. Grants parks amazing for children and any 4 legged friends. Chimes is a Great coffee shop. There was lots going on within the town with it being Remembrance Sunday.

I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily...

I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily Cottage. It was spotlessly clean,well appointed and has everything that one would need for a fantastic holiday in Findhorn. Pub, Bakehouse, Hotel, Cafe and beaches all within walking distance. Parked my car for the duration of the stay. Didn’t need it. The cottage is finished to a high standard and beautifully furnished.

Our stay in Forres was good.

Our stay in Forres was good. We were most impressed with the Mosset Tavern and the chippy next door. We were visiting relatives so did'nt do much site seeing, but visited Logie Steading Gallery and most impressed

Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray...

Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray Firth coast. There are still independent shops and beautiful well-kept green park areas. It has a Victorian heritage. There are a number of pubs with nice areas to sit out in. Forres is also well-connected for road, rail and air links. It forms a good base for exploring or for business visits.

Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street.

Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street. Grant Park was lovely. Huge area of lovely flower beds and play park for children. For lovers of archaeology the Huge Suennos Stone is situated in the town.

While the room was quite dated, every thing was clean & the bed was exceptionally comfortable, in all I felt that the room was good value for money. While breakfast was included I was so full from the 2 courses from the restaurant the night before I decided not to go for it so cannot comment on it. The food in the bar the night before was well presented & very tasty. All the staff I encountered at the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful & a credit to the hotel. I would be more than happy to stay there again.

It was located in a great place for us as we were visiting family in Dallas. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Location was fantastic, right in the centre of Forres so very easy to explore the town and surrounding areas. Overall a fantastic place!
