We loved relaxing in the common room, and it was great meeting so many people from so many backgrounds. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc, and was well maintained. The location was absolutely gorgeous, with access to several good walking trails. The owners are extremely courteous, always willing to answer questions. The husband even took the time to let me borrow a tool for a quick adjustment I needed to make on my gear. Super hospitable.

Beautiful locations and loads of walks. Good for campers and hill walkers. Rainy days gives a mystic charm. Loved the drive and scenery to Etive forest. Lovely walk at An Torr and hot food at the Clachaig Inn. Experience Mother Nature at its best.
Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated within some beautiful scenery not much around in the way of pubs/shops/restaurants. The room was really disappointing, not as clean as it should’ve been, way too small, the view was disappointing and the hotel is generally tatty not worth the money you pay. The restaurant is nice when you get there but there is an old door from the hotel to the restaurant which looks like it is for staff only then you are in a cold hallway where the kitchen on your right that you can see into, we saw staff carrying frozen meat to the kitchen, far from ideal.
Room not as shown on website .. should have had large patio doors with panoramic views .. but got two slanted windows .. very disappointed as website sold it as an exceptional hotel .. was more like a youth hostel Food good but COVID rules confusing
Amazing place to feel like you are in another world. Scenery amazing - lots of places to walk and waterfalls to see. Made me feel like a young explorer. If walking up to the hidden valley you need to be fairly steady on your feet and flexible for climbing up and over some difficult areas. We saw lots of age groups enjoying this, but you do need to go slow and take care in some sections. In my opinion it was harder going up, but easier coming back down.
One of the most iconic locations in Britain I'd say with countless options for walking, running or climbing. Be sure to check beforehand where you're going though as there are some technical routes which can become dangerous in inclement weather.
We wanted snow and it snowed! We did not have the right footware for the children so could not get up to the sledging area at the ski center. We are planning to return next year during February half term.
