Beautiful old building but is run down and in need of modernization.
Almost afloat, The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is nestled on the side of a peninsula, reaching into Loch Leven at the foot of Glencoe.

The location and views were stunning. The breakfast was yummy and dinner nice (but over priced in my view). The rooms were basic which was surprising for the price (but I guess you pay for location?) We had a wonderful time in the area and mostly encountered friendly, warm and very helpful staff. Stewart in the bar and the receptionists were fab! The pool look amazing!
This hotel has a stunning setting in the shadow of the Pap of Glencoe and surrounded by the beautiful Ardgour Hills. It offers rooms with homemade cookies, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

The staff was so hard working and friendly. The size of the inn made it so that you felt like you were in a homey place. Great location to hiking and strolling around the little town. Nice breakfast in the morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable!

This property is amazing, a beautiful little cabin at the edge of the forest, quiet and cozy. Great place to unwind and relax. A private hot tub is an added bonus, especially when it's cold outside. We also ordered a bbq, which was prepared and ready to light before we arrived. The hotel has a little self-service dining room open 24/7, where you can buy drinks and snacks. The cabins are very luxurious and have everything you need- a cozy bed, shower, TV, coffee machine, microwave. They are very small though, so you may have to leave large suitcases in the car. We will definitely come back!

We slept in the new pods and they were awesome. Perfect place for a couple. We enjoyed the spacious jacuzzi and the fact that the kitchen was well furnished. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to fall asleep with the sound of the brook in the background. The hist was really nice. I highly recommend

Glencoe is outstanding to visit. Many walks, many views.
Glencoe is outstanding to visit. Many walks, many views. We spent £17.50 each on the chairlift up the Glencoe mountain. All other walks, views, attractions we attended were free. I was fascinated by the history. The Glencoe massacre. Water, mountains, woodlands.
There is nothing to not like.
We went to Steall Waterfall, Three Sisters, Glencoe mountain resort, visitor centre, Glencoe monument and stopped at numerous viewpoints everywhere.

We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains,...
We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains, outside of Fort William. Arriving from the south we had a fabulous drive through the height of the mountains, and enjoyed the Glen Coe visitor center for their historical displays, gift shop and recommendations re local hiking trails, and places to eat.
We appreciated that this is a very undeveloped, yet stunningly beautiful area with just the right amount of places to see and enjoy for a 2 day stay if you like an leisurely experience re all that an area has to offer.
Just beyond the area, be sure to take the Gondola ride to the top of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. There is a good cafe at the top to take in the views, see mountain bikers ride the trails and take a walk on nearby paths.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi...
After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

We stayed in Beach House 3 for two nights and it was far too short. Plenty of space with huge picture windows and a well equipped kitchen. The view and the facilities were phenomenal. Hot tub sunsets and then star gazing with dark skies. We could not recommend this enough and we will definitely try to return.
Beautiful location, charming pods and a very good dinner. The bar was well stocked with lots of choice, including local real ale. Staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel was clean and tidy, with good measures in place that balanced safety and enjoyment well.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, the room was lovely with a comfortable bed and patio with access to the beach, the staff were lovely , the food was excellent and the breakfast the best ever. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Super cozy place, warm, calm, and all decorations are vintage, superb breakfast, super friendly staffs! Bus stop directly in front of the hotel, beautiful lake view and also beginning point of mountain hike!
The restaurant staff were fantastic and so attentive. Dinner was delicious and well priced.
