Located in Great Torrington in the Devon region, Greenways Valley Holiday Park features accommodations with free private parking. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. The Lodge that we had was superb. Very clean and comfortable. We cannot comment on the other chalets on the site. Despite the fact that the owners had only taken over in July, the facilities were good. The site position was lovely, very secluded, but only a 15 min walk into Torrington, where all the facilities of a small Devon town are available.
Located in Great Torrington in the Devon region, teapot cottage has a garden. The accommodations is 25 mi from Bude, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. We had a little problem finding the address but when we followed the directions and contacted the owner all became clear. The courtyard parking felt secure and private in a busy area. It was a short walk into a lovely town with a welcoming pub, a lovely church and plenty of shops.

Great Torrington is a charming little town with great character and lots of history. The central square is very picturesque. There are lots of lovely walks to do in the surrounding area, that you can do straight from the town, without having to drive anywhere, as it is surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are lots of lovely, independent shops and market stalls. It is also close to the coast and some stunning beaches.
We only stayed 4 nights but managed to get out every day. We had a lovely sunny day at Westward Ho, had great fun on the large beach and lovely fish and chips there. Visited RHS rosemoor, had a great day there as its surprisingly large and had tons of stuff to see and we also explored the commons local to the area and had a lovely walk up some of the tarka trail. The QR codes at various points of the trail were very interesting as well. We really enjoyed staying here and could easily come back and find different stuff to do for another 4 days.
A very pretty Devon town with most facilities. Fairly hilly so need a car or be good walkers. Lots of lovely walks by the river and along Tarka Trail. Bike hire available at the local (disused) station.
Great Torrington is a small but very interesting Devon town with plenty of historical interest, B&B at Windsor House is highly recommended. There are good pubs and a good selection of shops including 2 excellent bakeries, a superb butcher, craft shops and a couple of excellent chip shops one of which has "eat in" facilities. There is plenty of reasonably priced parking. Great Torrington has a super 9 hole golf course where the food is as good as the quality of the greens, it is also a very friendly and welcoming club for any standard of golfer, it has been established for over 100 years. This town is well served with accommodation and eating places and gives easy access to the rest of North Devon
Our trip was an overnight stay, of the stunning locations & history that we saw it was a great stay & will definitely be returning again next year for a proper break, we will time it with the August festivities of the burning of the boat that is currently under construction.
Although the approach to the town is a little run-down, the town centre is delightful with much character and an excellent pub in the centre which served great home-cooked food with excellent service and good value for money. Opposite is a nice bakery/café. We bought some filled rolls which were freshly made and delicious. Again, great service.
