It was warm everywhere, beautiful crisp cotton on the beds, plenty of hot water, a bath AND a shower, great bathroom products, great use of an outdoor pool (I’m a sea swimmer and the sea was too rough), great hot tub and spa facilities and a quiet peaceful room.

Wonderful New Year's Eve black tie dinner dance party with fantastic firework display. Staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Room was upgraded on arrival and really great.

I stayed with Kelly and Matt for 4 nights and they made me feel like home. We had wonderful conversations and were always laughing. Thanks again for that! The room was clean and nice. They are just upgrading the rooms as they took the place over last November. I loved that they posted the pictures of all the rooms online, so you know exactly what you are getting. The relaxed pub athmosphere was super nice and the breakfast wonderful. I always got a cooked meal that I was able to choose from a menu and there were juices, cereals, joghurts and more. And both of the hosts were super helpful with giving tips and infos. I really hope to be back! After staying at another hotel for the first few nights, that didn't feel like England, it was wonderful to switch and enjoy the Cornish athmosphere and hospitality. Again, thank you very much!

Gorgeous hotel with a lovely mix of quirky mid century modern decor and traditional hotel features like a book exchange shelf. Facilities were stylish and immaculately clean. The gardens and walk down to the Coastal Walk and beach were beautiful. The restaurant and lounge areas were just to our taste and good value for money.

We stayed for a week and each day had either continental-style breakfasts, or Full English Breakfasts, depending on what our day was going to be. Kate makes one of the best home-cooked Full English Breakfasts we've ever had, easily rivaling or surpassing what we've had in either hotels or restaurants. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, refreshed daily, and all the amenities were perfect. The bed is very comfortable and large. Down a quiet lane off the road, the peace and quiet is assured -- as the room was, even with other guests. Kate and Terry are lovely people with fun and helpful conversation and can provide knowledgeable advice about the area. The B&B is within an easy distance just north from Helston and is perfect as a base for exploring Cornwall. In the future, for our visits to Cornwall to see family, we will never stay anywhere else.
