The facilities were absolutely incredible The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even bumped us up to a double room because they had one available. The price of the rooms include breakfast! I had a full English and my partner had mushrooms on toast both were incredible. The food here is outstanding the baked Brie and the ribs from the tapas menu were insanely delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The bar is clearly the social hub of Bolsolver with a large selection of drinks and a very welcoming atmosphere. I was initially a little concerned that I would be able to hear the sbr as you stay above it. BUT I can honestly say you can NOT hear anything and it was the best nights sleep I have had in a hotel. It's in a very quaint setting and the town of Bolsolver is very beautiful.. I recommend Bolsolver castle as a place to visit that and Hardwicke Hall. Finally the servers and all the staff are absolutely incredible so attentive and polite and very knowledgeable about the area. If I could rate them higher I would they were so amazing. Genuinely one of the best places I have ever stayed

Beautifully clean. Ideally located for a quick trip into Matlock & Bakewell. Internal decor was very tastefully done. Loved the basement restaurant area. Plenty of outdoor seating too.

Everything is perfect, I can only say great things. We have real milk in a real fridge in the suite. The food is exceptional and amazing value. The views are stunning to wake up to. The bed is very comfortable and the suite is very spacious. The bathroom is very nice and spacious and relaxing to have a bath in.

Stayed here to visit a customer and the room size was very generous. The food was good in the bar and the breakfast in the morning was massive! Staff were really helpful and would definitely be back.

We were only staying for one night before flying back to...

We were only staying for one night before flying back to Australia, so wanted a quiet place to stay with a pub/restaurant attached. This fit the bill perfectly. The restaurant was superb, the service was good, there was live music on with Andrew Warner and our room was bright, light and comfortable. We had a wonderful night and wished we could have stopped for another. The accommodation offered great value for money and there were plenty of patrons in the restaurant, testament to its good reputation. If we'd have stayed another night, we could have visited Hardwick Hall, although we did get in one drink at the Hardwick Inn. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
