Overlooking Portleven Harbor, The Harbor Inn offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, there is also a traditional restaurant, a cozy bar and sea views. The staff were very helpful and happy. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were really good. We stayed in a harbour view room which was very comfortable. The complimentary Cornish biscuits were a lovely local touch, plus we liked the Orla bathroom showergel. Overall a great place to stay, excellent location and would definitely recommend.
The people we meet were so friendly. For being a rather small village the options for food & drink were quite varied. There was a small craft market and a art show the day we were there that we enjoyed.
It's a lovely fishing village. Had a fantastic meal at the restaurant Kota. Good pubs, loved our afternoon at the ship inn. Quirky pub with a great atmosphere. Lovely walks. Good place to visit even outside of the summer months.
Porthleven is a beautiful harbour town. There is not much to do there and over Bank Holidays when the weather is bad - it is hard to find any sort of excitement. The restaurants are lovely and the small shops worth a poke around. Definitely worth a short visit.

Lovely older style 2 storey house with new kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of room for our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 young children. Nice quiet beachside location with 2 private parking spaces. Great beach views from top floor. Supermarket short drive away for essentials and basic post office and restaurant with takeaway pizza, burgers, fish'n'chips a 10-15 walk away. Fantastic fresh seafood meals at Porthleven. Easy drive to Land's End, St Ives, Lizard, St Michael's Mount.

The beer was excellent. The hotel is owned by a local brewery so a nice choice of beers too. Our bedroom and bathroom were very spacious.
