IrelandFrom the time we arrived to the time we left it felt like home. Mary and Graham are great hosts and can’t do enough for you. Nick and kristof behind the bar are the nicest people. We couldn’t get a taxi one evening and Kristof brought us himself in his car. So nice. The food here is indescribable. It just amazing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

A great location for getting onto both north and south moors...
A great location for getting onto both north and south moors with beautiful moorland walks in both directions. Car parking at reasonable cost available at the Information Center. East Dart Hotel in Postbridge has a large bar with real fire and serves meals and snacks daily. The Warren House Inn a mile or so east is a must to visit after/ during a walk.

Postbridge is a delightful very small hamlet.
Postbridge is a delightful very small hamlet. It suited me just fine to reach all parts of Dartmoor, east, west, south or north. The drives in both directions are spectacular. There are some super walks direct from Postbridge.

Super location for walking to Postbridge and various walks direct from the hotel without need for transport. Also fine for going anywhere in Cornwall by car. Superb quality evening meals, nicely presented and very pleasant staff. The dining and lounge areas are beautiful and comfortable.

Amazing location in the middle of Dartmoor. The staff were very friendly, and really went out of their way to help us get settled in.
Good sized lounge and kitchen. Rooms have very comfortable beds, with clean sheets on every bed.
