Property was so clean and tidy with great facilities and most kitchen bits were brand new. Some tea, coffee and milk there already which was a lovely bonus. Towels etc all laid out, linen clean and a lovely outside space to be in. Can’t recommend here enough especially if you’re off to Alton Towers

Absolutely immaculate hotel in a super location! Staff were so lovely and the wildhive was probably one of the cosiest rooms we’ve ever stayed in!! Loved every second of our stay!

The room was delightful with a view out over fields. We were greeted with bottled water and the tea and coffee tasted wonderful. The pub was wonderful and the food was amazing!

For us it was perfect.

For us it was perfect. My wife Julia was born and raised in Rocester although we now live in Cheshire. The area around Rocester is quite beautiful especially going into Derbyshire, Ashbourne etc. The locals are super friendly and there are some idyllic walks available. Maybe along the River Dove or the River Churnett. Most places in Rocester are walkable but a trip out to Ashbourne and surrounding area is very worth while. If you have young children of course, Alton Towers is very short drive away.
