Luxe Airport - Free Parking is located in Stanwell. The accommodation is 20 miles from Croydon, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Great communication by the staff. Easy to find. Very close to Heathrow. The apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable. Everything worked great. Very quiet too. A fantastic find!
We stayed at Heathrow En-suite Rooms for 1 night. It was 1 night too many. There were no facilities to make drinks in the rooms (as advertised) and no tea, coffee, etc in the communal kitchen (as stated there was, on the back of the room doors.) The metal bed frame in the double room was missing parts of the foot board making it unstable and extremely creaky. The bathroom door handle was coming off. We could hear our son and his grandmother, who were staying in the next room, talking even though they were talking quietly. The light over the bed flickered and could not be used and the bedding did not seem to have been changed or cleaned as we could feel what we hoped were crumbs underneath us when we tried somewhat unsuccessfully to sleep, the noise from the road echoed throughout the room despite having the windows shut and the bed was quite uncomfortable. We definitely would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We did, however, find a gem of a Harvester nearby called The Bull Dog. Really nice food and absolutely fantastic staff!
The hotel was very nice. They put on a lovely breakfast. The garden was extremely tranquil. The room however hadn't been cleaned properly as we had found empty packets from the previous people staying in the room. We booked a room upgrade to a room with a balcony however upon arrival they didn't give us said upgrade. Other than that we had a lovely time.
Nice clean, staff very friendly hotel. Room was large and clean. Hot Breakfast was well presented and very nice. Staff also booked all our taxi's for us. Staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable.
We used it as a base, as we wanted to stay outside of London. The nearest underground station is Hatton Cross, but you can't access it on foot, so we caught a taxi there, which was a little expensive for the short distance (about £21.00 GBP). Then we travelled on the underground on the Picadilly line straight into Covent Garden which took about 40 minutes. On the other days we travelled to Stonehenge (about 1¼ hour drive). From there, we travelled up to Oxford (another 1¼ hour drive) and then back to Stanwell (about a 1 hour drive). The next day we travelled to Thorpe Park (theme park) which was only 25 minutes drive and the final day we travelled to Windsor - another 30 minute drive. So this property worked out as a good central point for us, rather than staying in the heart of London.
Received 0 communication or customer service regarding my cancellation request, was charged before I cancelled, and found it impossible to contact anyone. Only stay here if you have no where else to go!
We just wanted a place to crash for the night as our flight the following day was scheduled for an ungodly hour (06:55). I found the place to be secluded (we almost failed to see signboard for the hotel). However, the check in process was straightforward as we had booked through Booking.com. We had requested for a meal that night and the hotel responded that they had a restaurant on site. Service at the restaurant was reasonably quick, though it could have been better as I am used to the quick service at places like McDonalds and KFC. The beds were comfortable and the room lighting was soothing. The room was clean and had a neutral smell. The reception was also very helpful as they booked a taxi for us for the next morning. Checkout the next morning was a painless process as all we did was hand in our room key and viola, we were done.
Laura at reception is a wonderful hostess, she made me feel welcome. Also the rest of the staff was awesome. It was a last minute booking and I needed a rest due to the fact my flight got cancelled. The place is an oasis of tranquility not far from London Heathrow Terminal 5. Checkout until 12:00h was great, because my outbound flight was at 19:45h. Afterwards I stayed in the lobby till 15:30h. Staff was friendly and came by once every while whether I needed anything. Never met a more friendly staff than at the Stanwell Hotel.
We went as a family group to visit Thorpe Park and Legoland. The house is in a perfect location for both of these attractions. Easy parking and a short walk into the village of Stanwell, with its three pubs, several shops and a quaint church. Sleeps. 13 in 5 bedrooms . so we didn't need the sofa bed.
Sparkling clean with comfy bed and close to the airport. WiFi strong and there’s a little kitchen if one wants to make a meal. There was also tea, coffee available and when requested an early check-in it was accommodated.
The pictures were not as what was in the hotel. False advertising. We were told no tenants and then moved to a house full. Told no smoking but the people in the house we smoking. No cleanliness practised and very hostil
Close to the Airport and Hampton Court.Clean and comfortable. The parking was free and safe, the kitchen is fully equipped. Definitely coming back for my summer holiday.
Great value. Great location between airport and Thorpe Park. Very pleasant and helpful hosts with great communication even though i booked while i was abroad.
I like everything and feel like own and comfortable. But only problem is parking.
To be available in these days when all the hotels are closed.
Close to airport and car parking for us
The price. It's cheap.
The price was absolutely amazing - even with a £10-£15 Uber to the airport it was way under any airport hotels. The rooms were really comfy and had exactly what we needed. Dinner was yummy with a great choice of food and drink and all staff were really friendly!
Great place, nice bathroom, friendly owner, comfy room, close to Heathrow!
Cleanliness of the place Responsiveness of the hosts
