Lovely place to stay over Xmas. The kids loved the surprise stocking on the door. Rooms were spacious and breakfast was lovely.

The facilities are spotlessly clean. Staff are all polite and considerate, eager to help and smiley. Small spa but in a positive way - made to feel special and nothing was too much trouble, unlike some of the larger chains. The food was fantastic!! No complaints there. Loved the private outdoor jacuzzi too.

Communication excellent. everything as described. Easy to work out heating etc. Great location with canal in immediate vicinity and quality stores locally to get provisions. All six of us could not have been happier.

Very quiet and pretty location. Jenny was a fantastic host.
