What a lovely bar, very helpful and friendly staff, and welcoming. We checked in and was asked if we had a good journey and if the A1 was busy. We were shown to our room which was spotless, after freshing up we went down to the bar, and greeted by the customer's and had a chat. The drinks were good and good price. After a wander around the village we went upstairs to our room, lovely and warm (room 2) watched a bit telly and settled down for sleep. Really good comfy bed and pillows, slept really well. Next morning went down to breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and beautiful, and again the morning staff very helpful and friendly. A fantastic stay and we will definitely be back.

The location was perfect, in an area surrounded by nature, very peaceful and tranquil. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, USB ports in the bedroom, a "proper" coffee machine, not dried instant coffee. The food was freshly prepared, evening meal and breakfast. Would I go back there, of course without a shadow of doubt. One of the best places that I've stayed in.
