Located in the heart of Teddington, The Park Hotel is a Grade II listed Victorian hotel offering accommodations in South West London. I liked everything. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was very polite. The hotel is in a good neighborhood, 2 minutes from the train station and 1 minute from the airport bus. Obviously, if you plan to visit central London, this is maybe not the perfect place, but still you can get to Waterloo by train in 40 minutes. Breakfast was perfect. Even though you're right next to the rail tracks, the room was quiet during the night.
A short south of Twickenham High Street, The Alexander Pope Hotel is a modern, fully air-conditioned hotel with a traditional pub, overlooking the River Thames. Every thing was great! Julia, the reception manager is the best EVER! Loved my room which had a lovely view onto river and park. Very central location with free parking. Nice food at the restaurant - very accommodating staff. Had a free large glass wine for my birthday. Really very friendly atmosphere, with exceptional service. Will be back :)
Featuring garden views, 63 Aragon Road offers accommodations with a garden and a patio, around 3.7 mi from Hampton Court Palace. I liked all in the property: great location (wonderful Richmond Park from one side and beautiful river Thames from the other, and close to city center), quiet, cozy place, beautiful garden around the house. The apartment has everything you need for life, very clean everywhere, comfortable and large bed in the bedroom, good linen . The owners are very hospitable and caring.
A 2-minute drive from Hampton Court Palace, this charming hotel with traditional pub has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and secure parking. It is 6 miles from London Heathrow Airport. Fabulous good size rooms, always clean and serviced daily. Great location for food and shopping. We stay here two or three times a year and have been very satisfied every time.
The Lion Gate Mews offers self-catering accommodations in East Molesey. The apartments offer free WiFi, and private off-road parking with 24hr recorded CCTV. Excellent pillows, good WiFi. Great location with parking. Good heating and hot water. Very clean and modern. Quick to respond to questions.
Teddington is a lovely place to visit, the town is very cosmopolitan with little Bars and Coffee Houses. It has a Railway Station and can be in London in no time and a very good Bus Service to Richmond, Kew, Kingston, and Twickenham and not too far from Heathrow Airport.
We didn’t see very much of the area as only stayed 1 night visiting Hampton Court and Tower of London. Had a lovely breakfast in the pub next to the Lensbury hotel - Anglers? Staff were great too & told us of some walks along the river.
A wonderful high street with lots of lovely independent shops and services. There is an excellent choice of hostelries and places to eat, like the Teddington Arms, and you MUST visit The Anglers (3 min walk) - friendly staff, great ambiance and wonderful food and service. Also a must for visiting Twickenham, enjoy a walk through Richmond Park and to view stunning Hampton Court.
Accessible location between Heathrow Airport (the local X26 express bus goes direct to Teddington from Terminal 2 bus station) and Central London. Plenty of transport links. Lots of cafes and dining options. Handy for Richmond, Kew and Thames.
A village atmosphere with all the advantages of being close to London. Super selection of pubs and restaurants within walking distance although bus and train close by. On the Thames path, close to Ham House, Hampton Court and Richmond
We visit Teddington usually twice a year to visit our daughter and her husband, and we have found it an excellent centre, with good transport facilities for getting around. In addition we always enjoy eating out at the numerous restaurants and cafe's, and it is still a pleasant place to browse around.
