Me and my daughter stayed in room 115 which is located on the first floor not to far from the lift.
Room was lovely and clean, plenty of plug sockets and mirrors, the shower was really good, even the shower Gel and shampoo smelt nice, beds were comfy, big TV on the wall, hairdryer if you forget to bring your own, decent size cups when you make a brew ( not small cups like some hotels). Couldn't fault the room at all. Would definitely stay again.

United KingdomWell done Gulliver's Valley!! We rented 3 caravans for 2 nights, for a group of 17 between 2 and 57 years old. We were there to visit santa and we weren't disappointed. From the welcoming reception staff, to all the staff working in the park, everyone was so helpful and enthusiastic. All Santa's elves and helpers were excellent , as was santa! All the kids and the grown ups thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely come again.

The Red Lion : From the moment we arrived we found staff very warm, welcoming and friendly.
The room was a delight - from the decor, the space, and the cleanliness. The overall ambiance was of quiet comfort,. much like the public bar and restaurant! The bar and restaurant were comfortably busy.
We had our evening meal in the restaurant. The menu wasn't huge, but the food was well presented and very tasty. The service was excellent and the was a wonderful choice in beers.
And the best bit -easy to find from the M1.

Friendly staff, easy to access straight off of A57. Ask for a fan in hot weather , rooms get very hot. Resteraunt has nice choice and there are bar snacks. Close to sherwood forest, Roche Abbey, rothervally country park and Gullivers kingdom.

Todwick was an easy stop off the M1 as we were travelling...
Todwick was an easy stop off the M1 as we were travelling north.
Staff were very pleasant and the facilities were extremely comfortable after a long journey. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to discover more of the area.

I visited Todwick and Sheffield to meet up with old friends from many years ago. They lived in the Todwick area and recommended the pub I stayed in. I didn't therefore visit the area to sight-see.

Red Lion was clean and tidy, staff were helpful and considerate and happy to help . Parking could be busy , bramble bush beside bin in carpark needs trimming. Otherwise a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

There is nothing in Todwick.
There is nothing in Todwick. You should clearly inform people that the Red Lion is in need of a complete restoration. The hotels response from the reviews, is that the hotel is being refurbished. The hotel is in a very run down condition and has been for a long time, over two years from the reviews. This should be clearly stated on your website !!

Everything from the start was excellent from the welcome you receive when checking in to the evening meal the staff made your visit a pleasure, the rooms were furnished so well with little extras. This is a hotel that you would be pleased to return to, the breakfast also lived up to expectations a really enjoyable stay

The Hotel was lovely, and the staff were really friendly, the quality of food was good, and the prices weren't too bad at all. Would definitely stay there again.
