We had a fantastic stay! The place was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The owners were incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. It is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

The initial welcome was very warm from the staff member who showed us straight to our room. Breakfast was wonderful, an excellent full English with perfect poached eggs.

We only stayed for the one night, but it was a very pleasurable experience. Our room was quiet, clean and met our expectations as far as size was concerned. All facilities associated with the room were adequate. A longer stay would have been good but we were on holiday from Australia and our itinerary was tight; so one night's stay was all we could do.

Built in 1841, this Grade II listed building has retained many period features, with converted and tastefully furnished interiors creating the warm and friendly atmosphere.

The whole stay was fantastic and as we were travelling with my dog- he was treated like royalty :) Everyone was incredibly welcoming, location amazing, room great and fabulous breakfast! We will be staying again!

Lovely pub and very friendly and helpful staff, beds were comfortable and room modern

The accommodation was absolutely great, very clean with a nice touch of the village to it. Rooms were very cosy, the shower was great, and the lounge and kitchen were also great for a family stay or group of people. This accommodation is one of our highlights, and we will be back, this time for longer.
