We were met within a couple of minutes of our arrival. We spoke to Rhuraidh in person a little later, who went above and beyond to make the Wi-Fi idiot proof for us, much appreciated! This was a great location for the motorway and neighbouring towns that we were visiting. The caravan was a home from home, it was so comfortable and spotless, even with an integrated fridge freezer! I slept really well, not something I am known for and the dog was very settled too. We didn’t find the road traffic intrusive, even when the road was wet and are used to “leafy suburbia”! Thank you for your hospitality.

Great caravan as always . Used this caravan park many times this year . Idealy situated for easy access to m8 . 15 mins from Glasgow city centre . 5 mins from rrain sration . Just an ideal place to stay for exploring the 2 main cities. Plus all other local parks and other places of interest. The family who run this site go way above and beyond to make youre stay as easy and relaxing as possible . Cant rate them highly enough .

Lovely little town next to historic Bothwell.

Lovely little town next to historic Bothwell. Lots of trees and attractive properties near the Hotel Baba, previously named The Redstones. Bus stop and routes to Glasgow outside the hotel and excellent train links from the station just 5 minutes walk. Nice little independent shops and cafes in the Main Street. Ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to make visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh quick and easy by public transport or car. The Turkish restaurant at Hotel Baba is worth a visit as is the Shanghai Tearoom in Bothwell. Bothwell Castle and the David Livingston Centre are also well worth a visit by car or walking. Both are overlooking the Clyde with beautiful scenery.

Uddingston has become quite a lively little town, with lots of cafe's, good range of small shops and restaurants. It has a railway station with good links to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Bothwell is only a short distance away and has a lovely little castle and its own range of individual shops and restaurants.

Booked this property for my daughter and myself to attend the Funeral of my Sister at Daldowie Crematorium, the location was perfect for contact with Family in Uddingston. The Caravan lived up to expectations and the site was peaceful
