This is an absolute gem. Stunning property, amazing hospitality and quite possibly the best breakfast we have ever had. We have recommended you left, right and centre. Attend to detail, VERY clean and cosy. Very keen to become a part of the local community and use local suppliers - and this again, is reflected in the quality. The cottage was warm, comfortable, and very inviting. It's was clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing break. We will definitely return for a longer period to explore more.

On arrival we were greeted by Jenny, a warm and welcoming host. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and there were lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom had a good hot shower which was very welcoming after a cold and wet afternoon finishing another day walking the Nidderdale Way. The beds were very comfortable and had a peaceful night in this quiet location. We had a wonderful hearty breakfast before setting of on the walk to Ripley. Thank you Jen we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you and hopefully will return in the future.

The most beautiful, peaceful stay! We booked this little getaway last minute for the bank holiday weekend, and it was the best decision we made. It gave us the perfect escape from busy life and such a relaxing evening. The hut had everything we could possibly need and more, the interior is absolutely stunning. I especially loved the bed tucked into the alcove, it felt so cosy. The shower was incredible too, warm and powerful, just perfect. Thank you so much for such a gorgeous stay. I’m leaving feeling so much calmer and happier, I can’t thank you enough. We will definitely be returning! xx
