Great location, spacious complex on a gentle hill so all the apartments had lovely views. Very large apartment type accommodation. Good WiFi. Varied breakfast every day. Quite a few people staying but always quiet and peaceful. All staff were great. Felt like family. Pool was large and warm. Never any issues in getting a lounger. Town centre five min walk. Beach max ten min. Touristy Greek Night was good fun with tasty buffet. Fat e-bike rental just outside the hotel. Well worth taking one for the day to see the beaches and countryside.

The Staff, beautiful setting- rooms cleaned everyday and smelt amazing. The whole venue was perfect as not too big and enough places for everyone round the pool complex . Also the village. A couple of minutes’ walk to an array of restaurants with the best food and drink- still at fantastic prices. Have to mention Maria - excellent bar host.

The room was great - spacious, very clean, comfortable, with a huge bed (two single beds joined). A large variety of amenities are provided and make the stay even more enjoyable (e.g. on-site parking, shaded tables in the back garden, kitchenette with an electric stove, washing machine in the common area, large open-air balcony). The back garden and the pool are gorgeous & very well kept, and it's a truly relaxing feeling to hang out there at any time of the day. The property is placed very close to (at least) two grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes (for morning persons - the cafe right next to the entrance is open from 6 am), and excellent restaurants. The walk to the closest beaches takes about 5-10 minutes and it's an enjoyable walk.

Mrs Caterina is wonderful person, kind and very helpful. The apartment is very nice, clean and the swimming pool was the best attraction for my daughter. Also the see is very close, 2 mintes by walk.

Really good cocktail bar in the town which was the highlight...

Really good cocktail bar in the town which was the highlight of our evenings. Kontesa being the name with staff and owners being both present and welcoming, the food here was also great with asian being the theme. The other food options and restaurant standards in general were quite disappointing despite the abundance of restaurants. The village was very quiet during our stay in September, definitely draws a more mature crowd with the few youths present looking quite bored. I wont be back with Corfu offering many more lively and beautiful places such as Kasiopi.

We returned to Acharavi in Oct after visiting a year before...

We returned to Acharavi in Oct after visiting a year before in June. We were looking for a little more sunshine before the winter and it was lovely. In Oct some of the restaurants and bars were closed so there was less choice and we missed a couple of our favourite eating places. But we enjoyed cooking at the villa and shopping locally. Acharavi is more than a tourist town and so the supermarkets and local produce shops & bakery were still on the go. The beach at Acharavi is mainly taken over by the cafes and restaurants on the seafront so there is very little casual use beach. Mainly it is further west along the Sidari-Kassiopi road where, then, there are few facilities so its a difficult trade off. For us the real attraction was the tree filled hills for walking and walking along the seafront. Rhoda and Sidari had little to offer us. If we had rented a car for longer we could've struck out and visited other bays and towns but were happy at our Villa on the hills. If it were summertime we would've stayed longer to use the sea and the pool.

Acharavi was a good town with lots of shops, restaurants and...

Acharavi was a good town with lots of shops, restaurants and 3 supermarkets. The beach wasn't the best one as it has quite a lot of stones but its a short drive to really good sandy beaches at Roda and Agios Spiridonas. We enjoyed meals at Odysseus and Maestro - where they have a 'Greek Night' of music and dancing on a Tuesday evening, but book ahead. Also near Agios Spiridonas there is 'North Corfu Horses' where there are different options for horse rides. Our adult daughter did a 'swimming with horses' which she really enjoyed.

There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food!

There are many wonderful places to eat delicious food! Our favourite was a beachfront restaurant called Eretrico. Dolce Freddo is a gelato place that does wonderful fresh waffles and amazing ice cream. There are a good few supermarkets with prices much lower that what we have here in Ireland. There are also plenty of giftshops selling typical souvenirs as well as locally made products such as olive wood products and jewellery. The town area is mostly flat, so it is easy to walk but some of the paving stones are uneven and could present a tripping hazard. There are a few bus stops with buses connecting to Corfu Town and a few other towns. There are a lot of cars, motorbikes, quad bikes and bicycles available to hire. I would recommend using the bus to get to and from Corfu Town and consider hiring a car for exploring the local area as there are many beautiful beaches you can only reach by car. Locally, you can hire paddle boards, rent sun loungers and umbrellas at reasonable prices and arrange tours through a travel agent. It is possible to do things like boat trips, a day trip to Albania and go horse riding. Honestly, we ran out of time before we could do all the things that we wanted to do!

A little to remote located on the north side of the island. The village had a very quiet feel to it which is fine if you like it that way. The beach is excellent but can be exposed to winds and rolling waves.

There’s plenty to do and there are good supermarkets and an...

There’s plenty to do and there are good supermarkets and an excellent fresh fish shop. It’s on the coast and a sundowner drink at one of the tavernas is a must. The restaurants are very good, but the local grill bar is particularly good value for money. We also went to Therikas taverna which was local to us that was very good also. The bar Poets Corner on the old town road is also definitely worth a visit.

Spyros was a fantastic host. The Villa and surroundings are an absolute credit to him and the people of Corfu. The Villa was clean, the pool was immaculate and Spyros couldn’t have been more accommodating. He even helped us to book restaurants with the family. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone looking for picturesque views and a relaxing holiday! Thanks Spyros!

Perfect location! Philip was great and so friendly! The unit had everything you need, great air con and wifi, just seconds from the beach! Free private parking too. Lucky to of found a gem like this. Will be staying here again if we come back to Corfu!
