This was the 2nd time I have stayed here and everything was perfect again! The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with wonderful cooking facilities and everything you could need. I was on a windsurfing trip so the big drying rack on the patio was very handy. The location is fabulous, only a couple of minutes drive to the beach and to the shops and restaurants in Palekastro, but in a lovely quiet location with no noise at night. The little extra touches from the owners such as a box of freshly baked cake on arrival, olive oil and fresh eggs and cucumbers during the stay was really thoughtful. Will definitely be back to stay here again.

Alex does not only *behave* friendly, he *is* very friendly. The same applies for the other people of the hotel, such as Alex's father, who helped us with the laundry machine. The hotel also has a pizzeria. We got one for free. It was excellent. The balcony was very nice to sit on. It has a nice view over mountains and sea.

We loved our stay at Knossos Sunset. The apartment was cozy, spotless and very comfortable. The restaurant owned by the host is just a few meters away and the food was amazing — especially the rock-cooked pizza. The 10% discount was a great bonus. Highly recommended..
