We really enjoyed our stay here, as well as the peaceful and serene scenery of Sidonia and Southern Crete. I would like to thank the host for her attention and courtesy and the lady who took care of the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious, modern and fully equipped with everything we needed and provided us with a nice countryside view. All that at a very reasonable price. The friendly locals were also a part of this memorable holiday. Thank you!

Such a wonderful, charming place! Extremely spacious apartment, perfect kitchen, large bedrooms and bathrooms and very lovingly decorated. The front balcony offers a nice view of the Libyan sea, great to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks.We loved going for an early morning swim on the beach just 50 meters down the road.The village still has a very authentic relaxed vibe with nice tavernas, cafés, a bakery and a supermarket, all within walking distance. A perfect spot for a very relaxed holiday away from the crowds! A special thank you to our lovely host Lulu who made our stay a very pleasant one. We would definitely like to return!

Arvi has the highest temperatures in Crete as is evidenced...

Arvi has the highest temperatures in Crete as is evidenced by the local growing of bananas in this particular micro climate. So I would suggest a visit either side of the main season and you will experience lovely warm weather and certainly well into the autumn and winter months as well. It is a very quiet resort, not many tourists as banana growing is the main activity but the beach is great for swimming and sunbathing and there are tavernas.
