Location is very good for Corfu, compared to others because of the beach which is of the hotel, it has very clear and beautiful waters, is shallow and thus good for kids and with sand on the bottom. We upgraded to a suite and it was huge room with walk in closet, living area and bedroom. Hotel has several buildings, we stayed in the main one.

Honestly, Kaloudis is one of the best accommodations I have stayed in in my entire life, the area is wonderful, ideal for resting, very close to supermarkets and the sea, also restaurants and with easy access to buses. Great friendly little area, 2 small hotels & a few villas/apartments. Very popular with our German friends, who I think, like to keep it a secret! A few local tavernas & coffee shop within walking distance. Smooth stony beaches with lovely clear waters, some secluded. The minor road along the coast doesn’t have a pavement but is fairly narrow & quiet, need a torch at night!

We wanted somewhere quiet away from mass tourism and Boukari...

We wanted somewhere quiet away from mass tourism and Boukari in May was quiet. The sea is lovely but access is over narrow shingle beaches ( beach shoes advised ) set below a minor road which does have a certain amount of traffic. There were three restaurants open, one of which specialised in fish and was excellent and a really friendly bar open all day, serving delicious coffee, breakfast and snacks. If you don't want to hire a car, you are a bit stuck in Boukari as public transport is virtually non existent and it is a EU60 taxi ride to the airport or Corfu town. However there is a travel company in Boukari offering a variety of organised trips by sea and land to other parts of the island, to mainland Greece and to Albania, Paxos and Antipaxos.

Boukari ist really beautiful and for a few days there are many things to do. But it does come to a point where you want more civilisation back. So we stayed 3 days and enjoyed every of them and could have stayed 1-2 days longer without any problems

A lovely fishing village on the Ionion Sea with an impressive choice of restaurants, all with sea views - some on the shoreside itself. Narrow roads but plenty of parking in the village centre. The beaches on this side of the island are not as impressive as those on the west (Aegean Sea), but they are absolutely fine for simple bathing and safe for families with young children. The Boukari Beach Seafood Taverna and the Kalami Beach Taverna are both worthy of praise for their food and friendly welcome. A great spot for two or three nights at either end of your holiday in Corfu.

The village of Boukari is about 40 minutes drive south of...

The village of Boukari is about 40 minutes drive south of the town of Corfu. It is a quiet and still authentic place on the southeast coast that has not been invaded by tourists (yet and particularly in April). There are few hotels and a few restaurants directly on the water. I particularly recommend the Kalami Beach and the Boukari Beach Fish Taverna. Don't hesitate to rent a car to get away from it all during your stay but this base camp is ideal.

Quiet, friendly, beautiful place, where you can also see the sunset and the sunrise. Akriogiali is a family restaurant, where is the best fish in Europe. I liked the narrow winding road, near to the sea, and leanders and olive trees.

It was pure pleasure to be there! A wonderful owner who was very helpful and hospitable.You can feel like at home. As for the hotel, clean, well-kept and well-equipped. A plus was the swimming pool, which was open until 9 p.m. Very good breakfast, everyone will find something for themselves. A big advantage is that the facility is very close to the sea. The only thing that was bothersome was the lack of public transport. We will definitely come back to this place.

As the flat we chose was on the top floor, the views to the sea and the hills around were absolutely stupendous. Allied with the quietness of the place and the singing of the birds, this gave us the beauty and calmness we needed to have a relaxing and re-energising holiday. The cherry on the tree, as we did not have a car, our host took us to Corfu town for the Easter celebrations. This made for a wonderful day!

Beautiful family run hotel, wonderful location and thoughtfully equipped rooms. Amazing clean pool and always plenty of sun loungers. Little private shingle beach opposite the hotel where we swam in the beautiful clear sea. Delicious food in the restaurant and a nice varied breakfast.
