Unfortunately the Green Bus Service was closed due to non...

Unfortunately the Green Bus Service was closed due to non payment of wages so was not able to visit villages on that service. The local city bus is still operating. I was lucky to do a tour with Kanaris Tours. They do not however tour every day so it’s important to check the days of the week and where you want to go.

An interesting island, quite large, very mountainous, but...

An interesting island, quite large, very mountainous, but with excellent roads. Beaches are well-equipped, with gravel and sandy beaches in the southeast and southwest. The north is more rocky, but the sea and mountain landscapes are beautiful everywhere. Friendly people, reasonable prices, and simple, good food, in the Greek tradition. The Turkish coast is visible from the east, and in places very close.

I liked Chios and enjoyed finding the history of the island.

I liked Chios and enjoyed finding the history of the island. Very pleased with my accommodation at SeaView hotel. I travelled as National representative with a team of 10 people for the World Finswimming Championships and was able to point out to them the better and more reliable accommodation. People were friendly.

Chios is a perfect place to relax.

Chios is a perfect place to relax. It would be helpful to have a car, but I managed a couple of great trips using the local (not very frequent) buses. There is plenty to do if you are interested in history/culture. There is a wide choice of tavernas, cafes etc. and plenty of shops to mooch in.

This is the island my Mother's family was from many...

This is the island my Mother's family was from many generations ago and so it was important for my son and I to visit. It was not what we expected, it was so much more. It was easy to move around and it was the perfect place to rest, recharge and reconnect with the ghosts of our ancestors as tourists were minimal because it is not a party island and nor should it be. It is a very well - kept secret but had everything we needed and more. Next time we will travel in the shoulder season rather than winter to enjoy the beaches and further explore the history and all the island has to offer.

We should have stayed in Chios longer.

We should have stayed in Chios longer. The sea's are relatively clear and clean and there is so much history on this Ireland that more time would have been great. The airport is also near to most of the touristy places. Great and reasonably priced Food nice people, perfect climate and nice fresh sea air. What else would two people want from a holiday.

Definitely the best and newest apartment to stay in Chios. The location of the house is great, you can reach the center in a few minutes by walking. We stayed for about 1 week. Everything is available in the house, brand new and spotlessly clean. When I come to Chios again I will definitely stay here without looking elsewhere. The owner is very nice, kind and helpful. He reached to us even before our holiday start. Every day he helped us plan our excursions and gave us information about the island. I definitely recommend it.

This place are awesome. Place has a parking lot for two cars it is so important because parking is big problem in Chios center. The roads are really narrow. The other Best side is Manuoulis and Despina. They are very friendly and helpfull people. Also rooms are really comfortable. You will have everything you need in the room. Breakfast are really satisfied. Despina makes really tasty goods. And always smiling. Sho knows a bit Turkish :) :). I am really and highly recommended this place.

Kaly&Angelica, i love you😍 I've never felt this special in the hotels I've stayed in before. They constantly sent me messages about my accommodation and travel destinations. The room was perfect, spotless, the location was great. I slept more comfortably than in my bed at home. Their free breakfast gesture on the last day was incredible. I now have a second home in Chios. I will recommend it to all my friends. Many beautiful things that I haven't thought of yet.

I had an amazing stay at this room! The landlord was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. The location is simply perfect – close to the beach, restaurants, and beautiful sights. It was the ideal place to relax and enjoy Greece. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is in a beautiful property, with clean facilities with all amenities that we needed. The staff were amazingly friendly and happy to help with great recommendations.
