Good sandy beach and cafes/restaurants nearby.
Given all these positives, there's still one more important positive: the owner, George, who was so welcoming. George was a prompt communicator and offered suggestions to enhance our trip. He also gave us several local or homemade treats, which was very kind!

GermanyOur stay at Aegean Horizon in Karfas, Chios was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all expectations. The location is simply perfect – only a few steps away from the beach, making it ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the sea at any time of the day.
The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home, with great attention to detail and absolutely nothing missing.
What made the experience even more special was the exceptional service from the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and available around the clock whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire stay.
One of the highlights was definitely the breathtaking sea view from the terrace. Starting the day with breakfast while looking out over the water, and ending it with the beautiful evening atmosphere, made the experience unforgettable.
Without a doubt, Aegean Horizon will be our accommodation of choice for all future holidays on Chios. Highly recommended!

United KingdomThis is a great place to stay to explore Chios island. The hosts are very helpful and gave us tips for excellent beaches and tavernas to visit. It’s a 5-10 min walk to Karfas beach. Would recommend to have a car to explore different parts of the island.
The flat is clean and has a small kitchen. Everything was great. Would recommend!

without a car it is difficult.
without a car it is difficult. It is really really small, there is nothing much to do other than swimming. If your priority is swimming this is the right place. don't except clubbing. even ice cream is hard to find.

We liked the beach that we could walk to.
We liked the beach that we could walk to. The free sun beds if you eat in the restaurants. It wasn't too busy or crowded. The bus service was good to the capital. A relaxed and friendly resort.
There was lots of interesting places to visit in the Island.

If you can swim in the sea - if there are no jellyfish - the sea and the beach are nice and sufficient, but Karfas is a very small city and inadequate. It is much more logical to stay in Chios and travel around by car and make day trips.

Ilenia was a wonderful host. We felt as comfortable at the hotel as we do in our own home. She recommended places and beaches that locals go to. We fell in love with Chios Island and came back with great memories. We will definitely go again and stay at their hotel. 💛 Thank you for everything. She is also an amazing artist. We returned with lovely gifts for our friends from the gift shop.

I really loved the hospitality that the hotel employees showed us. It was a beautiful hotel, with wonderful views of the island. The room was very clean and was regularly cleaned as well.
