TurkeyI give full marks for our experience at this hotel. The location is very good, right in the center. It was converted into a hotel by restoring a historical building. Our room also had a kitchen. Nothing was broken, the heating was good, the water was hot. We were kindly welcomed, they offered wine for the new year. The price is reasonable. There is a cafe and restaurant downstairs. It is a place we will prefer when we come again.

The hotel is situated close to the city centre, a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants. There is a beach closeby with free sunbeds, while you should also enjoy other beaches that are a short taxi ride like Karfas Beach or Glaroi beach, both cost 15 euros one way.
What we enjoyed the most about the hotel was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, they made the experience much better. They were always open to help and very hospitable. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed every day. I am thankful that the cleaning staff even airconditioned the room before we arrived from the beach every day :) We had a package including breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was great, everything you need is there. Dinners included one tapas, one salad, two main courses and dessert for two people. Every meal we had were absolutely top-notch, there was nothing we did not like. We got to experience some very good Greek meals throughout the stay.
The hotel buildings are beautiful and historical, very picturesque. I think our 5-night stay was absolutely worth the price and we regretted not booking a longer vacation. Thank you so much for everything and for all your hospitality, we will make sure to recommend this hotel to our friends who want to visit Chios!

We stayed for 4 days with our baby. The view is amazing, right by the sea. You wake up to the sea in the morning. You can’t swim directly in front of the place, but a bit further (a 5-10 minute walk) is the sandy beach of Karfas. The center is 6-7 minutes by car. Effie is very attentive and sweet. It was very clean. The kitchen is sufficient, so anyone who wants can cook. We always had breakfast at home. We were very comfortable with the baby. There was nothing we didn’t like. If we come again, we would definitely stay here. Thank you, Effie :)

Where to begin? This place is perfectly lovely as is the gentleman who runs it. He had great advice on which places to go based on our particular interests and gave us a tour of the grounds. We felt very cared for. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are sumptuous and spacious. Slept like a rock. The beds are really comfortable and the linens of high quality. We all took our filling breakfasts out to garden to eat amongst the trees...and cats. The cats were delightful, too.

The location, hotel, rooms, and other things were great. The staff was amazing. Cleanliness is not their strongest point, but the rooms were comfortable, the kitchen materials were new, and each room had an air conditioner. The location is close to the beach, which is quite comfortable; you can always go back to your room from the beach to rest or take anything from the room. We will definitely stay again in the hotel next time we are in Chios.

Markella and the lady working with her were amazing, they offered me snacks when ever we came across :) and they tried helping with "everything" they could. I was travelling alone and I'm so grateful that I stayed here. I felt so comfortable that I did not feel like I was staying at a hotel. The view is amazing, no noise, just good vibes :) Thank you Markella for your hospitality and generosity. See you next year!

Iason Hotel lies in the very north of the island in a very quiet place almost on the beach. The location is ideal for exploring the northern part of the island. Although we were the very last guests of the hotel, we were given proper care and could spend there very relaxing 6 days. The apartment was very comfortable, had 2 balconies, great sea view and sufficient equipment.

The breakfast was fantastic, the garden on the premises was heavenly, and I felt complete serenity there! The citrus trees in the backyard were also beautiful. Stratos and the rest of the staff were exceptionally friendly. Our rooms were impeccably clean, pleasant, and comfortable. The location was perfect.
Right in the middle of a pedestrian mall .The courtyard coffee shop had a lovely ambience a d was lovely for breakfast and light meals.
The staff was polite professional and very obliging.
It has been modernised but has alot of its ancient charm with lovely spaces and stairways and a beautiful painted vaulted ceilings

Unfortunately the Green Bus Service was closed due to non payment of wages so was not able to visit villages on that service. The local city bus is still operating. I was lucky to do a tour with Kanaris Tours. They do not however tour every day so it’s important to check the days of the week and where you want to go.

without a car it is difficult. It is really really small, there is nothing much to do other than swimming. If your priority is swimming this is the right place. don't except clubbing. even ice cream is hard to find.

The Bahari restaurant was exceptional.
The Bahari restaurant was exceptional. The food was delicious. Suitable for the wheelchair. The toilets are perfectly clean. There was a menstrual pad for our use. That is very thoughtful of them. The service was spectacular. The sea view is marvellous. There was a good size of the car park in front of the restaurant.

Kampos is a nice area full of older mansions, many restored for use as bed and breakfast. The mansions typically have high walls, and extensive gardens inside the courtyards, full of trees and flowers. It is generally a quiet area, very quaint, and close to major roads leading south, north, and west, not far from the capital city and the airport. We ate at a variety of establishments, both in the nearby village and on the coast. All had fresh seafood and local dishes and the prices were very reasonable. We didn't find a place anywhere that could be considered a "tourist trap."

Mesta should be a world heritage site.
Mesta should be a world heritage site. This beautiful stone village is like a step back in time, it's so well preserved and authentic. It's a delight to wander the narrow alleys and relax in the little main square.
There's plenty to do around the area as well - nearby mastica villages Olympi and Pyrgi are also wonderful day trips, and there are lots of lovely beaches around too.
One thing to note is that Mesta doesn't have a few modern things you might need, like an ATM, gas station, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket, etc. You have to drive about 15-20 minutes to Pyrgi for those things. Also, no public transportation, and I didn't see any taxis.

Our stay at Seaside Luxury Komi Beach Villa was fantastic. We enjoyed Komi and the villa which was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were extremely helpful and very responsive. The villa was close to the little harbour where we could get fresh fish. The beach itself is fantastic and the sea water is very clean. The surroundings offered a unique insight into the Mastiha tree tradition and the history and tradition of the island.

Picturesque medieval village, close to excellent beaches, bars and a very good fish restaurant. The monastry of Ag. Markella (the patron saint of the area) is 7 KM boasting breathtaking views of the Western side of Chios.

It is a medieval town with a great view of the sea. The houses were all made of stone and most of them are restored and turned into comfortable hotels. There are two restaurants. Especially the one with the name Asteri is worth visiting just for its own sake. It has a great sunset view and wonderful food. The personnel is friendly but only a little bit disorganized. You can go to different beaches in 20 or 30 minutes by car. The sea is very clean and crystal clear (only a little bit cool).

An interesting island, quite large, very mountainous, but with excellent roads. Beaches are well-equipped, with gravel and sandy beaches in the southeast and southwest. The north is more rocky, but the sea and mountain landscapes are beautiful everywhere. Friendly people, reasonable prices, and simple, good food, in the Greek tradition. The Turkish coast is visible from the east, and in places very close.

We liked the beach that we could walk to. The free sun beds if you eat in the restaurants. It wasn't too busy or crowded. The bus service was good to the capital. A relaxed and friendly resort.
