Netherlandsit is such a cozy stay with many amends nearby. personnel is super friendly and always smiling and helpful even when it gets busy in the mornings. beach is 2 meters away with a sandy beach and shower. you can find nice restaurants nearby. it is quit and relaxing. if you are looking for more fun and party this might not be the best choice but for families and to relax it is the best. we will definitely go there again and i don't think we will even look for an alternative.

The house is pretty big and the kitchen was great. So close to city center but yet the area is rather quiet. Also plenty of free parking spaces. Also very close to public beach. Iason Hotel lies in the very north of the island in a very quiet place almost on the beach. The location is ideal for exploring the northern part of the island. Although we were the very last guests of the hotel, we were given proper care and could spend there very relaxing 6 days. The apartment was very comfortable, had 2 balconies, great sea view and sufficient equipment.

The sea is only 1 minutes by walk. family friendly . This is my fourth visit to Chios, and this is the most beautiful, family friendly hotel. the breakfast is fantastic. staff is helpfull. rooms are very wide, even you can cook if you want in the room. very near to sea and food places.

The room was always very clean, and breakfast was a pleasure. The pool is great fun for the children. Everyone working at the hotel, as well as the hotel owners, are warm, friendly, and lovely people. They were always kind, helpful, and welcoming.

The property was amazing and so was the staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and our stay comfortable. The breakfast was also exceptional with a wide variety of food. The pools were also great for kids and adults.

Interesting history and many nice museums and Byzantine churches to visit.
Landscape is dramatic with amazing views as you travel around.
Generally clean, especially the beaches and sea water is crystal clear.
It doesn't feel over commercialised for tourists, but you can still get some nice authentic souveniers from Chios.
Public transport is limited so you will have to consider car rental, use taxis or use a tour group (Kanaris is highly recommended).
Great range of food options with local ingredients, and some interesting take on salads.

Best beach on the island: water sports rental, large far-out sandy shallow beach (kid-friendly), restaurants, shopping, cafes, lounge chair/umbrella rentals, volleyball net. free access and walking distance from almost all lodging in the small beach town of Karfas.

it is a small town in chios, very nice beach, they have seaside showers and changing rooms. You do not have many choices for restaurants but the ones they have is good. We went to one called elephant and they had great dishes. Lovely little town overall. Close to karfas and centre by car.

Picturesque medieval village, close to excellent beaches, bars and a very good fish restaurant. The monastry of Ag. Markella (the patron saint of the area) is 7 KM boasting breathtaking views of the Western side of Chios.

It is a medieval town with a great view of the sea.
It is a medieval town with a great view of the sea. The houses were all made of stone and most of them are restored and turned into comfortable hotels. There are two restaurants. Especially the one with the name Asteri is worth visiting just for its own sake. It has a great sunset view and wonderful food. The personnel is friendly but only a little bit disorganized. You can go to different beaches in 20 or 30 minutes by car. The sea is very clean and crystal clear (only a little bit cool).

Surrounded by citrus orchards, you truly feel immersed in nature. The area is exceptionally peaceful and is famous for its historic Genoese mansions, enclosed by impressive stone walls 3–4 meters high. The only drawback is the very narrow streets, which can be challenging to navigate even with a small car. Kampos is also home to the Citrus Museum, where you can learn about the history of citrus cultivation and trade, as well as purchase citrus-based products and local souvenirs.

Mesta should be a world heritage site.
Mesta should be a world heritage site. This beautiful stone village is like a step back in time, it's so well preserved and authentic. It's a delight to wander the narrow alleys and relax in the little main square.
There's plenty to do around the area as well - nearby mastica villages Olympi and Pyrgi are also wonderful day trips, and there are lots of lovely beaches around too.
One thing to note is that Mesta doesn't have a few modern things you might need, like an ATM, gas station, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket, etc. You have to drive about 15-20 minutes to Pyrgi for those things. Also, no public transportation, and I didn't see any taxis.

The house is new and modern, and the view was beautiful. The furniture and household items inside were new and clean. The location of the house was also great, close to a good beach. Breakfast was sufficient and nice every day. Communication with the owner was easy, and they were very helpful with all our requests. They also gave us recommendations on places to visit. The cleanliness of the house was great, and when they cleaned later, they even washed the dishes. Thank you very much. I was satisfied with everything, and I will definitely stay here again when I return

It was like a vacation in Turkey in the '90s—in the unspoiled Turkey of yesteryear. Staying here for more than two or three days is too long.
There are some nice places here, though there are much nicer ones in my own country, but the reason Turkish people come here is that they feel they’re being ripped off in their own country. My reason for coming, however, was to see a new place I’d never been to before. From my perspective, aside from the accommodations (which were an absolute disaster), it was quite a nice trip. I liked it anyway

without a car it is difficult. It is really really small, there is nothing much to do other than swimming. If your priority is swimming this is the right place. don't except clubbing. even ice cream is hard to find.
