Good and tasty food and breakfast at the restaurant (Breakfast not included in our rate, but we had a 20% discount on the breakfast price).
Umbrella, beach bag and towels available in our room for usage during our stay.
Fresh water and a complimentary little oil bottle when we departed.
We will return there for sure.

Very popular beach with two or three areas with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Quite busy but the vibe was overall pleasant with lots of families enjoying the beach. Basic sandwiches to go and drinks are available at a snack bar on the beach. The hike down from the parking area can be challenging in the heat.Pearson - Scored 1010

Perfect location - the restaurant was fabulous. Incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was all about spending time in ELAFONISI Beach. We have never experienced a beach so incredibly beautiful and the colors yes there is pink,and violets and real and aqua - a rainbow of crystal clear calm magnificent water.

Beautiful area!
Beautiful area! The water is very shallow on the main beach so you can walk to the islet. The water gets deeper on the other side of the islet and you can snorkel/swim there. There are fishes and the water is clear/turquoise. If you like to explore and walk around the coast in any direction, you will find natural pools and coves for wild swimming. The water was safe and calm. I managed to swim in different coves every day, several spots over 5 days so there is plenty to see and not be bored. There are wild goats which you might spot while hiking. You also have convenience stores, restaurants and food stalls.

Elafonisi is the most overrated beach in Crete.
Elafonisi is the most overrated beach in Crete. Super crowded. The sand is not pink. It's a normal sand. The beach resorts are expensive, usually they are full and the chairs are attached. On top of that, you need to walk 20 minutes to reach the sea.GianlucaItaly - Scored 1010

Breathtaking natural lagoon which everyone is coming to enjoy. Get here before the buses arrive at 10 am or come after 4pm when buses leave otherwise I think it is too crowded. Consider staying overnight at Lafo Rooms.ElaineUnited States

There were horses that could be seen from our balcony and an amazing pool which enjoys the view of a sunset. I would definitely recommended, not just for family but also for a romantic getaway. I wanted to extend my stay if I knew what a gem of a place it was. It's also very close to Elafonisi beach. There are cute little restaurants near by esp there is one who is Canadian it was excellent for food. You can also enjoy a coffee in the morning in peace.M GrechMalta

By foot you can go to a couple of local tavernas for good food and drink. Hosts are very pleasent and you will be supplied with homemade olive oil, and fresh fruit. Of course the house is fully supplied with everything you may need and even more. We strongly recommend for families.
