We stayed 10 wonderful days at the Relux. The photos of the Hotel are exactly how it is,beautiful. The rooms are kept so clean, lovely little extras in the room and bathroom. The views are to die for, perfect location. The breakfast choice is huge and freshly squeezed orange just and a choice of quality coffees. The staff are so professional but friendly. Thank you all for a relaxing stay. We feel we have been lucky to find this place, as it’s a perfect location for beach port and restaurants. The drinks at the bar is excellent and good conversation with Stephanos he looked after us so well. This is our 3 rd time in IOS and wish we had found it a few years ago. We would recommend to anyone, everything is so perfect. Thank you again to all the staff they are a credit to your hotel.

Location is right by the port. Jannis was so accommodating and hospitable — he and the hotel staff really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beach is directly across from the hotel which was a plus. We definitely would stay here again!

We loved meeting the family and getting very personalized attention. The pick-up from the ferry at 1am was the first wonderful impression of being taken good care of. Antonia encouraged my tiny knowledge of Greek, Panos helped with cold medicine. We enjoyed the beakfast terrace and the foods offered. The pool area is beautiful, too.

it's an enchanting little town full of shops, bakeries and cafes super recommended the hike up to the 3 churches, the view is breathtaking. sunset aperols at ios club or alma sunset bar are a must!

The island is the preferred destination for 1st year...

The island is the preferred destination for 1st year students, mainly from Ireland, from what we could tell. Not really our croud. It was a bit cheaper here for drinks and food than it was on Santorini or Mykonos, but I probably won't go back. There is not much to do on the island, and the wind was next level. We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights initially, but I am happy that we reduced it to 1 night. We visited a goat cheese farm, which was nice, but after that, we did not want to do anything in the wind, plus, there was not much else to do. The old town was very pretty, with cobble streets and little shops, but not as lively as Mykonos or Santorini at night. It felt like a Sunday. Lovely little island.

We really liked Ios, a great place to stay.

We really liked Ios, a great place to stay. At night it was peaceful and quiet but lively during the day and evening. We went into Chora most nights and that was wonderful, lots of bars and restaurants. Also a great bakery on the main road a must if you visit. Our hotel was Brothers Hotel, a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts, spotlessly clean rooms and very helpful. Thank you

I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized...

I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized island like its famous neighbour Santorini. We rented a car one day and saw Homer‘s supposed resting place and a Byzantine castle, a wonderful goat farm with tours and great choices of cheeses run by very eloquent and multilingual owners, a large number of bigger and smaller beaches on all sides of Ios and even ran into a goat herd and visited one of several monasteries. Ios town is cute and very walkable with a lively vibe and we witnessed a folklore dance performance by various groups of dancers from other islands, adults and children, on the main square. 3-4 full days might be the right length, but we had 5 and used one for a day trip to Santorini. I prefer Ios despite the other islands‘ amazing promenades and oozing luxury feel.

I recently visited Ios and had a mixed experience.

I recently visited Ios and had a mixed experience. Here are my thoughts: Scenic Views: Ios is pretty, but not as picturesque as I had hoped. Some areas are nice, but it doesn't quite match up to other Greek islands. Cost: The island is quite pricey for what it offers. I felt like I was paying more than what I got in return. Nightlife: There are lots of young tourists, and the nightlife is very active. However, this means there are a lot of drunk people around, which can be a bit much. Food: The food is tasty, but the portions are smaller than expected, especially for the price. Beaches: The beaches are nice and a definite highlight. I enjoyed the clear water and the sandy shores. Parking: Finding a parking space was surprisingly easy, which made getting around a lot less stressful. Overall, Ios has its ups and downs. If you love beaches and don't mind the party scene, it could be worth a visit. But if you're looking for stunning scenery and good value for money, you might want to consider other options.

Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios.

Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios. It's full of friendly local people, and a mix of expats who have made their homes there, or who visit year after year because of the island's ambience. My stay was over the Easter period, which in itself is a marvelous opportunity to observe or partake in the ages-old traditions of the Greek Orthodox religion. Later in the year, as the temperatures heat up, the town welcomes a much younger crowd, as bars and nightclubs open up to transform Ios into "party island"!

Stunning location! The pool was amazing - the hosts were even more amazing! Upon check in they sat with us and recommended places all over the island and upon checkout they were kind enough to drive us to the port! There is a bus stop at the door for getting around and honestly you could spend all your time in the hotel and be happy with just that. The service was perfect and it is what really set this place apart for us! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Overall we found the staff to be very kind! The pool area was clean and modern with a lively view of Chora however we did feel as though there was a lack of atmosphere! The hotel was also in an ideal location to Chora with a great view and away from the noise of the village. Th hotel was fine, and the rooms were serviced daily but it was not at all the hotel we thought we booked.

Joana was very helpful! She did everything we needed and went above and beyond to help us make reservations for a popular roof top bar. They provided free transport from the ferry port to the hotel which no other hotel did and were very attentive with this. The best place we stayed in Greece so far. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Our favourite location thus far on our trip around the islands. This is a family run hotel with Leah the daughter now taking the lead. She has been excellently trained by parents. A big thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay. Can fully understand why Corali gets so much repeat business. We will return.
