SerbiaFirst of all, this is the cleanest hotel we have ever been to. Rooms are spotless. The location is right on the beach that is sandy and clean, where hotel guests have a set of sunbeds included with the stay. The owners are a lovely family where you don't feel only like a guest, but like a friend. :) There is also a bar that offers breakfast, snacks and drinks, from which we loved the club sandwich and the mix omlette. Ios is a fantastic island and I'm sure that we found a place to be for the upcoming years to come!

Ios Chora is one of those rare places that feels alive at...
Ios Chora is one of those rare places that feels alive at every hour of the day. In the morning, it’s peaceful and full of charm, with whitewashed streets, hidden churches, and breathtaking Cycladic views. By evening, it transforms into a vibrant town with incredible restaurants, bars, and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Greece.
What I loved most is that Chora offers something for everyone. You can spend hours wandering its picturesque alleys, enjoy amazing local food, watch unforgettable sunsets, or dance until sunrise—all within walking distance.
Despite its popularity, it has managed to preserve its authentic Cycladic character, making it much more than just a party destination. It’s a place where every visit feels different, and somehow always leaves you wanting to come back.
Highly recommended whether you’re visiting Ios for the first time or returning for the tenth. It truly captures the spirit of the island. 🇬🇷💙

The relaxed atmosphere of the island in general and it retains a lot of its island character without being over-run by tourists. Good variety of food and reasonable prices. Very relaxing but probably not for the adventurous activity type person.

super recommended the hike up to the 3 churches, the view is breathtaking. sunset aperols at ios club or alma sunset bar are a must!

The island is the preferred destination for 1st year...
The island is the preferred destination for 1st year students, mainly from Ireland, from what we could tell. Not really our croud.
It was a bit cheaper here for drinks and food than it was on Santorini or Mykonos, but I probably won't go back.
There is not much to do on the island, and the wind was next level. We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights initially, but I am happy that we reduced it to 1 night.
We visited a goat cheese farm, which was nice, but after that, we did not want to do anything in the wind, plus, there was not much else to do.
The old town was very pretty, with cobble streets and little shops, but not as lively as Mykonos or Santorini at night. It felt like a Sunday. Lovely little island.

We really liked Ios, a great place to stay.
We really liked Ios, a great place to stay. At night it was peaceful and quiet but lively during the day and evening. We went into Chora most nights and that was wonderful, lots of bars and restaurants. Also a great bakery on the main road a must if you visit. Our hotel was Brothers Hotel, a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts, spotlessly clean rooms and very helpful. Thank you

I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized...
I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized island like its famous neighbour Santorini. We rented a car one day and saw Homer‘s supposed resting place and a Byzantine castle, a wonderful goat farm with tours and great choices of cheeses run by very eloquent and multilingual owners, a large number of bigger and smaller beaches on all sides of Ios and even ran into a goat herd and visited one of several monasteries. Ios town is cute and very walkable with a lively vibe and we witnessed a folklore dance performance by various groups of dancers from other islands, adults and children, on the main square. 3-4 full days might be the right length, but we had 5 and used one for a day trip to Santorini. I prefer Ios despite the other islands‘ amazing promenades and oozing luxury feel.

We had such a lovely stay with Maria. She was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the room was really nice and comfortable.
More than anything, she made us feel completely at home, which made the stay even more special. Ios was actually our favourite island out of all the places we visited in Greece.
The only real problem was having to leave and go back to normal life when we honestly would have preferred to just stay there with Maria 😄
Thank you so much for everything. We would absolutely stay here again.

What an amazing property with even more amazing people. This is a true family-run hotel, and the owner, Margarita, is so lovely — I genuinely can’t say enough good things about her and the warmth she brings to the whole stay. The location is fantastic, perfectly situated between Chora and the beach, so you get the best of both worlds. And the view from the property? Absolutely unreal — one of those spots you don’t want to leave. On top of all that, it’s genuinely great value for money. Highly recommend if you’re staying on Ios.

The hotel is nicely decorated with good furniture and a modern feel, although the atmosphere is more of a youth hotel. One downside was arriving in the evening to find the bar already closed at 8 pm and nothing available, so I had to walk down to the port to find something. There are also quite a lot of steps to reach most rooms, but fortunately the staff were helpful with my luggage, which I really appreciated.
