The staff were amazing - also drove us from and to the port.
The cleaningness was amazing
Our room was so pretty! Our door- window was facing the sunset and I could see it from bed. Also the little sofa bed was the perfect spot for my reading when I needed to relax after the beach.
One thing to note - it would be lovely to have a few things by the sink, such as a cloth to clean water from the sink and maybe a cutting board.

The place is very well located, right in front of the Mylopotas beach, the best one in Ios in my opinion.
The staff is super nice, friendly and supportive.
The transfer from the port was arranged by the team, check-in was easy and they give good tips about places to go in Ios. The massage service in the spa is amazing as well as the two pools in the hotel.

The owner and his son were helpful and had some great recommendations about where to eat and what to visit, and the transfer to/from the port was very stress-free and easy! Even in an area with a lot going on, this hotel is the perfect place to relax. Would absolutely stay here again if we come back, and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going. Thanks for making our experience so lovely!

The breakfast included is also great value and has a large range of food. There is a bus stop right outside to take you into Chora town and the port so it’s really easy to get around. They also include umbrellas and sun beds on the beach which are perfect for lounging! Other areas on the beach charge for these services.

They provided lots of information about the island, drinks on arrival and helped us find short cuts to get around. we couldn’t fault our stay at all, and just wish we had longer there! Special thanks to Panos for looking after us so well!

Liostasi has absolutely made our honeymoon the most magical and comfortable experience. The rooms, the pool, the bar, the view, the spa, the food- all of it is fantastisc. The breakfast is one of the very best I have seen at a hotel. The restaurant is also one of the best/fanciest on Ios. The hotel is close to the port and the other restaurants and bars in Chora. They can also help with car rental so you can explore the island. But the real secret to Liostasi's success is the staff. The staff is wonderfully kind and caring, and willing to help with everything. The staff is the real gem of Liostasi if you ask me. So, if you have the opportunity to travel to Ios and stay at this hotel, do it!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Absolute must visit destination and hotel!

We had some reservations about the hotel after reading reviews, but it all turned out wrong. We had a great stay here and we can only recommend it. Bear in my thought that we were here in September at the end of season, so there wasn't many other guests.
The host welcomed us and gave us some useful info about the island and places to visit. The room, the beds and the bathroom were all very clean, nothing to complain about. The balcony was nice, it had pleasant view and we loved to chill there. The swimming pool was also very nice, we saw it was cleaned every day. We also had our towels changed every day, they offered us beach towels for free.
This is a low budget hotel but it exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you very much for having us!

The resort is huge with all kinds of accomodation types. I was really worried that the resort is more for a clubbing youngster crowd and I was going there with my three kids (10, 6 and 2 years old). We stayed in a Superior Twin which was an absolutely new, beautiful clean space. Minimal but relaxing. All the facilities were clean and beautiful, they were cleaning the beach all day long, the sand there is amazing. It was a great short break (just one night). There was a DJ night, but the music stopped at 10:30 pm and didn't really bother us. The staff was very sweet, I really recommend! But probably it's worth paying more and staying at a better accommodation to have the same experience

This is a gem of a hotel. Small but with everything you need for that boutique feel around the pool. Room was lovely, bed comfy, air con great & no issues for us with noise. The bus stop right outside the property meant we could get to the town or port easily (the hotel has a QR code with the timetable) for €2 each per ride. We walked down the steep steps to the beach but you can just take the bus if that’s an issue.
Really enjoyed the breakfasts, plenty of choices for us. Staff were fine but it was the last few days before closing for the season so we did feel they were ready to finish!

Location was fantastic - close proximity to everything, just a short walk down steps to get to the main street. The cleaning ladies were lovely - gave us extra towels when needed and always greeted us. There was a balcony, clothes line and mini fridge. Perfect place if you're there for a few nights and don't intend on staying in heaps. The balcony was also beautiful, the sun came into the room each morning and lit everything up. Gorgeous views.

The location of the property was amazing, very close to the center of nightlife and next to a bus to get to the beaches. If you don’t mind walking it’s also a very nice walk to the beach. However the best part of the property by far were the staff. George and his wife and sons were amazing company to have, and they were very nice with good vibes and super friendly. The food there was also cheap and very tasty, which was a big plus.

Everything was even better than expected. The service was 5 stars! We were granted the posibility to check out late as we had a ferry in the evening. The room was comfortable and nicely decored and the location is priceless, specially to visit Kolitsani beach. Probably the best option you can find to stay in Ios!

Mylopotas has a lovely beach, lots of great restaurants. You can bus to the main town in six minutes or do a 20 min walk which is only for those up to the challenge of steep , steep climbs. Do not recommend going after Oct 1 as many facilities close for the winter . Some still may be open if you prefer a quiet scene

Excellent beach but the businesses that run the beach facilities (sunbeds and restaurants) must improve a lot. Despite very friendly personnel, the prices are very high compared to ther poor services and offered food quality.

We loved the beach location very quite only thing was there was no transport to go into town as only 2 buses all day we left a day early as we wanted to enjoy the town of chora for 1 night the only place open for food was the beach hotel and they closed at 9pm and opened after 10 am for breakfast but the owners was lovely

There is no supermarket in this area. There is a tavern restaurant and a beach hut where you can buy drinks and snacks on the beach. it is located very far from the main town, the journey is long. The area is secluded, there is a not a lot of other properties around, but there is a few so you don't feel completely alone. The beach is stunning and the mountain views are spectacular. The beach attracts a small amount of people so it's not too busy. The water is very clean and the sand is nice.

The island is the preferred destination for 1st year...
The island is the preferred destination for 1st year students, mainly from Ireland, from what we could tell. Not really our croud.
It was a bit cheaper here for drinks and food than it was on Santorini or Mykonos, but I probably won't go back.
There is not much to do on the island, and the wind was next level. We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights initially, but I am happy that we reduced it to 1 night.
We visited a goat cheese farm, which was nice, but after that, we did not want to do anything in the wind, plus, there was not much else to do.
The old town was very pretty, with cobble streets and little shops, but not as lively as Mykonos or Santorini at night. It felt like a Sunday. Lovely little island.

Most of the year, Mylopotas is a party beach.
Most of the year, Mylopotas is a party beach. But in the early and late seasons, even here you can enjoy a relaxing beach vacation. If you're young, this beach is probably the most popular hotspot on the island. If you're a little older, other, quieter beaches may be more appealing.
Recommendation: Manganari Beach or Agea Theodoti are alternatives that can be reached by car in just over half an hour and offer typical Greek cuisine as well as pure relaxation on site.

We went into Chora most nights and that was wonderful, lots of bars and restaurants. Also a great bakery on the main road a must if you visit. Our hotel was Brothers Hotel, a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts, spotlessly clean rooms and very helpful. Thank you

End of September it was very quiet and many places were winding down for the season. I really enjoyed how quiet it was but very much the antithesis of what Ios is known for.
The water was crystal clear and fabulous for a swim.
