We had a truly great stay. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served in the room. We stayed in a suite with a spa on the terrace. While it was a lovely room, the terrace was not very private, and although it was advertised with sea view, you only get a small glimpse of the sea – so don’t book it for the view. There was some noise from the kitchen until around 00:30, but it didn’t bother us, and the staff explained that the kitchen will be relocated next summer, which sounds like a good improvement. The pool area had plenty of space. Although the hotel is advertised as adults-only with no access for children at the pool, on some days there were older children present – this did not disturb us, but it’s worth noting. The restaurant serves fantastic food, and the staff were outstanding throughout our stay. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance that are definitely worth a visit. You can walk along the beach and promenade into town in about 20–30 minutes, and we took a taxi back for 9 euros. The beach right by the hotel is also fantastic – it does get busy during the day, but in the mornings we almost had it to ourselves. Overall, a calm, professional, and very enjoyable stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They kindly allowed me to check in early, which was a huge plus after a long journey. The room was spotless, well equipped, and clearly recently renovated—very comfortable and modern. The location was perfect: I could walk to town in about 25 minutes, and the hotel had direct access to the beach, which made it incredibly convenient. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Ariadne Beach hotel ! Thank you so much ! Staff was very friendly, Swimming pools and sun beds were top ! And the rooms with sea view were very spacious and comfortable. Central position near a sandy beach and not far from the city centre. We will certainly come back !!

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. the staffs are very helpful in giving information, they make you feel at home while away from home. Lots of eating places around and the beach so close to the hotel. Deluxe room was great and the rooms are clean. The hotel has the vibe of a 4 or 5 star. With comfortable beds.

I stayed in two rooms, both overlooking the marina. It was a lovely view to wake up to each morning. Location is great for all the local amenities, a couple of minutes walk to the square and the main shopping area. A lovely beach on the doorstep and other beaches close by. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes to choose from. The proprietors were lovely and very helpful.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Amazing thought to minor details. Staff very kind to both young and old or anybody needing any help. The staff are very well trained. Lots of local food and wine. Very little waste and thoughts concerning the environment. Wonderful place.

Where to start ???? We ummed and ahhed about the cost as this is an MG Gallery hotel it was pricey so I was at least hoping it would meet expectation, well this exceeded expectations by a long shot and worth every cent. Firstly, I have NEVER had service like this not just by one staff member but EVERY single person who works there. I was going to ask if the owner gives them happy pills because everyone from the front desk, porters, waiters, cleaning staff treated us like we were royalty. It honestly made us feel so special. We were super early but they still escorted us to the restaurant and offered us coffee etc and wanted to show us around so we felt at home, Returning that afternoon to check in, we were given the junior suite and plunge pool and it was superb -the privacy is next level and it was an absolute highlight of our trip to Crete. Watching the sunset over a perfect evening was unbelievable. The mini pools are sparkling clean and they drain them everyday. The two pools are divine, you can grab a cocktail or two while you swim. They both overlook the ocean but they also have a private beach area directly in front of the property and you can order food and drinks till 6pm each day which is incredible. You don’t have to lift a finger. The food in the buffet is absolutely first class and includes bubbles. The bathrooms are beautiful with the shower fabulous, they just need some shelving for toiletries. The Manager, if I have this right Nikitass was so welcoming and engaging and did an excellent job overseeing the staff in the restaurant. I live in Australia but I hope to one day stay for a week. Impressive !!!!! Agios Nikolaos is absolutely beautiful and I’m glad I listened to advice as we were going to stop driving at Heraklion.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Port 7. During our visit, the hotel was managed manly by women, who were all absolutely lovely, helpful and competent. We always felt super comfortable!! The breakfast was delicious and the view from the room with afternoon-evening sun very stunning. The location is perfect if you wanna see something from Agios Nikolaos, you can reach all points easly. As well there is a parking spot close by where you can leave a car for further trips. We would definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Port 7 for 100%!!

The view on the balcony overlooking the lake was magnificent. The room was clean and comfortable- no frills, but excellent value. Staff were very helpful

Great location just 5 minutes to restaurants and “The Lake.” Absolutely amazing view over the bay, worthy of a 5* hotel. The lift from the shop was awesome, it felt like you were stepping into the wardrobe into Narnia. Handy to the free City Bus which travels around the town every half hour including a stop at the main bus station.

The hotel was very friendly and the staff were all very attentive to your needs. There were fresh homemade cakes and jams each day at breakfast. The hotel is very good value for money.

Good location in the centre of Agios Nikolaos. Very nice people in the hotel and good clean hotel. Good hairblower and had a drink from the minibar, which was refreshing.

Beautiful view, location 10 meters from the beach, good breakfast, stuff is very friendly. A lot of cool restaurants and bars nearby. Free locker in the room. Highly recommended!
