This was a first class hotel. The room was perfect, the staff were perfect. The breakfast was varied and ample with many choices from eggs bacon and sausages, cereal, cold meat, cheeses and salad. Pastries sweet and. Cheese and spinach. Coffee, tea and juice available. Not stopping there the restaurant is open during the day for purchasing of meals and coffee. Tea and coffee available in our room as well as a fridge. Parking available underground, via a lift to -1 and -2 below the hotel it’s pretty compact down there. We paid extra 5€ a day to reserve a parking spot. Stree parking was very busy and in some streets there was double parking. I highly recommend this hotel

- The hotel does live up to its rating of 5-star with their service alone. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. - They arranged a breakfast box, well packed, for me as I had to check-out before breakfast. Ensured I was ready by giving me a wake-up call as requested and had a taxi ready for me without having to wait even a minute. - The bathroom was well equipped with any and every toiletries one might need. - The room while comfortable could use a remodeling/renovation. - the hotel has a gym and a spa. - The location is excellent. You will enjoy the BEST coffee in all Greece no doubt and the food options are many and will satisfy all needs! Larisa is the center of the main agricultural region of...

Larisa is the center of the main agricultural region of Greece. It has a good shopping area, and the area around the river and cathedral is very nice. However, many areas of downtown appear neglected. This begins with the railroad station which is desparately in need of a repainting. The townhall is dirty, and quite a few sidewalks would benefit from a cleaning. The few archeological locations are not inviting, although they are very interesting. Abandoned and dirty buildings in these areas do not help. However, Larisa offers relatively easy access to the Meteora monastaries, Volos, the Vale of Tempe and Mount Olympos. This makes it a convenient location for a series of day trips. Larisa can easily be reached by train from Athens and Thessaloniki.

The city is very lively and people are extremely hospitable.

The city is very lively and people are extremely hospitable. It is a perfect place to get a proper Greek experience. It's big enough to have a lot to offer and to not be bored, but small enough to have everything in walking distance and not to be crowded with tourists.

Though Larissa is not the fancy place like Thessaloniki, or Athens, this town is vibrant, young fresh and if you love going for coffee, you’re just at the right place, in the whole planet. Never seen so many coffee shops in such a small area like in this town. It must be the metropolis of coffee. Besides that it has a great center place with walking areas never seen before, if you love the shop if you love to hang around if you love to go partying that’s really a fantastic beautiful place. The city has also an ancient Pötter where you can see a nice amphitheater, right in the middle center of the city

There are a few points to visit but you can do it in a day...

There are a few points to visit but you can do it in a day or two. Unless you prefer shopping and nightlife sort of tourism, it is best to use Larisa as a base to visit nearby places. It has very good transportation system for local, inter-region and all the major Greek cities.

Lovely hotel – spacious, clean room with all the essentials: kettle, full toiletry kit, soft towels, and a small balcony. I was there for work, but the location was great both for business and for exploring the area. Super friendly staff and an excellent, generous breakfast. Highly recommended!
