IrelandFrom the moment we stepped through the door, we knew it was the perfect location for our four-day visit to Loutro. We were delighted with all aspects of the accommodation, particularly the breathtaking view over the bay. Thank you! Visitors should note that the price to pay for the stunning view is a steep staircase (74 steps). This didn’t bother us as we’re able for the climb, and enjoyed the exercise.

Only stayed one night in Loutro, but it seems like a perfect weekend getaway. Completely pedestrianised so very quiet and with frequent ferries to the nearby Sweet Water Beach. Lots of options for Tavernas, very suited to tourists.

We loved swimming/ snorkelling off the rocks to the right of Loutro (facing out to the bay) and probably spent more time in the sea than on land!
It's such a lovely place, possibly a bit too busy for my liking (compared to when I was last there 30 years ago!) but I still loved it.
We liked eating at Stratis taverna, set back from the main sea front. The chicken souvaki there was so so good!

We were there for 5 days and really enjoyed our time hiking, swimming and just chilling out. It is a very small place so if you are someone who likes lots of shops and people it might not be the place for you or maybe for just the day.

Liked the colour of the town. Liked all the boats. Liked it could only be accessed by water. Every body seemed to be tourists. Wondered how the few kids around got to school. Food in general didn’t have a great taste. Wine and beer good. Prices higher than Chania

Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days...
Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days except if one wants to simply relax on the beach. Hikes to Fiona’s and Glyka nera are easily accessible. Good restaurants with local delicacies. Ate at Stratis and Ilios both reasonably priced

The relaxed athomsphere and the silence in Loutro after the day tourist have gone are so great. If you go to Loutro DO NOT forget to bring snorkeling equipment, the crystal clear water and living creatures are so nice. I had a walk/hike up to the ruins of the fortress above Loutro and that was a very interesting place to visit. PS. Please do not carve your name on the walls of the ruin, sadly so many tourist lack respect for historical heritage.

We had room # 9 with beautiful views overlooking Loutro from the small balcony. Room is recently refurbished and looks better than advertised. The shower could use a little updating. Bathroom was functional but just not up to par with the rest of the room. Breakfast was excellent...Fresh orange juice, toast/pastries coffee or tea and then a choice between 5-6 items including fried eggs and bacon, omelet, fresh yogurt with fruit, waffles or Sfakian pie. Perfect location and not noisy at nightime. I would recommend

We stayed in Loutro for two nights and Nikolas Rooms was a perfect location. Simple but with everything needed, stylish, spotlessly clean, and an amazing view. Cats sleeping around the grounds, and perfectly located. Extremely responsive owner via WhatsApp, and delightful staff at the apartments. Simply perfect.

The room was big, clean and comfortable with a very nice view on the sea. Appartment was functionnal and high standards for Loutro (where I have been a repeater for 10 years). Maria, the host, was very nice and friendly. I will definetely come back at Molos apartments.

Simple but exceptionally clean with cotton sheets, air con, fridge, complimentary toiletries, shared balcony, shop downstairs and in beautiful Loutro. We loved it! Everybody was lovely, really friendly. Thank you!

Great location to explore nearby gorges and beaches near Loutro.
Pavlos was a very friendly helpful and attentive host, and even helped us with a flat tire.
The food in taverna was good.
