Sapphire Horizon is a hidden gem in Kissamos and highly recommended for all types of holidays, whether as a couple or a family like us. It was the perfect base for us to visit the nearby top beaches such as Balos, Elafonisi, and Falassarna, and to enjoy dinner in Kissamos or at a nearby taverna in the evenings. What stood out most was the exceptionally friendly and service-oriented staff – true to the motto “small but excellent.” The breakfast was great, with something for everyone, and even snacks during the day were available. A clear 100% recommendation from us!

Everything! We had an amazing stay! The team is so kind - they made us feel at home. On the last day they even prepare a little snack of our favourite Greek pastry for our trip back. The rooms are very good and comfortable.

The Elia Hotel and Spa is a special, wonderfully welcoming place. Our room was huge with a very generous covered terrace. There was very wide choice of food for breakfast, including a number of local products. We happened to be there on Easter Sunday when, instead of the normal evening meal, a magnificent feast was offered, at which we were joined by our hosts. We used the swimming pool (though it was a little cold in April). There were also details of local walks.

An excellent surprise and the best accommodation of our 33-day trip through Europe. The spacious room, with a balcony and ocean view, allowed for moments of reflection during the day and rest at night to the sound of the waves. Breakfast just steps from the sand and overlooking the ocean. Spectacular breakfast menu, with homemade cakes made by the owner's family, and the best waffle we've ever had, with excellent homemade orange syrup to accompany. All the staff were spectacular throughout our stay, which certainly made our stay even more unforgettable. The hotel provided accommodations before the scheduled check-in time, and while we waited, we were treated to a refreshing coffee and a delicious piece of cake. We are grateful for all the attention and care that went into our stay, making this hotel unforgettable – Giorgos, Gorgios2 Vlada, Manolis, Antonella, and the entire staff.

The hotel was superb, with the most friendly hosts I've met ever. You'll find literally everything you'll need for beach relaxation: travel information, fruits, sunscreen, beach umbrella, beach towel, volleyball, books, toys, etc. And the ladies cleaned up the room so well. The location is 9 min walk to the busstation and 7 min walk to SYNKA, where you can purchase neccessities with local prices. Definitely a 10 of 10, especially considering the reasonable prices of the stay. Wish the ladies all the best.

We did really love everything! Sal Hotel has spotless clean, brandnew and comfotable stylish rooms with a perfect view. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with local homemade specials that change every day. The owners and all staff were lovely and treated us like family. It is walking distance to many restaurants, bars and the old part of Kissamos. We liked Mavros Molos beach best, wich is a 15 min walk, but there are different beaches in walking distance and right next to the Hotel. Last but not least - thank you for a perfect birthday-breakfast! Hope to come back soon!

Room was basic but comfortable. Shower toilet etc all very clean. Large lobby outdoor area dining area and pool so didn’t spend time in the room other than to sleep and shower. Hosts were amazing and made the stay memorable. Guests mingled freely in the communal spaces. Such a welcome friendly lo key environment for a jaded traveler. Wish we hadn’t booked our next accommodation or would have stayed longer. Also. We’ll worth having breakfast at the hotel.
