Was a lovely little place to stay in Matala. Walking distance to the beach and shops. Helen was such a beautiful lady and very helpful.

Very beautiful bungalow, well equiped. There are two big room and a bathroom and a terace. Very good breakfast. Situated on the end of the small city of Matala in peaceful area with a nice pool.

Location, the breakfast was perfect. The conformability of the room was very good.

I liked the location, right next to the beach, you don’t need a car, very close to seafront restaurants, shops and everything you need. The breakfast was good and the staff are realy nice.

You can notice there is a lot of thought behind the design of the whole property, everything is clean and relaxing and cared for. The housekeeper is a gem and was quick to clean our room everyday and ensured we had lots of towels, cold water bottles and new toiletries :). Also Fay is quick to respond if you need help with anything and makes sure that everything goes smoothly. The breakfast is amazing, makes use of local products, and is prepared freshly for you. The location is perfect as it is less than a 5 min walk to the city centre with lots of restaurants and some mini markets, while being out of the noise. If you rent a car, lots of other beautiful beaches are within a 45 min drive. Lastly, the lovely team at Adama made us feel welcome and ensured that we had a great and comfortable stay across all 13 nights.

We, a couple, stayed one week, and had a great stay there. Our room was big enough, we found storage space for our stuff, bed was just the way we like it(hard but comfy). The cleaning was excellent. Breakfast was very good, with lots of fruits and salads to choose from. The pool area is nice and spacious, and it was never crowded. Food and drinks in the poolbar was also very good, with an oki price level. And most important; the staff was all very nice and helpful. The lady in the poolbar is a solid 10 of 10 points, just as all the others there.

Went there with my chihuahua and everyone was so accommodating and nice. The owners are amazing and we enjoyed the spacious beach

Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, loved the bonus Raki and cookies. Also nice to have a pool! Easy to find parking for hire car and not far from Matala and Pitsidia with heaps of food options.

Everything was good, personal was great and kindfull, communication was also perfect. Delicious food, great people, beautiful sea.😊

This is our fourth time in Matala and fourth time at Hotel Neos. Cornelia and Michael are gentle and attentive hosts, always happy to have a talk with you. Breakfast is ok, rooms are tidy and clean. The Hotel is close to Matala centre and the beach (going on foot) in a very quiet position.

Roomy room, plenty of storage, with air-conditioning and fridge, and balcony, in a quiet area and a lovely swimming pool. Breakfast great with good choices.

We stayed for seven days in August 2024. and had a wonderful time. The owners of the hotel, three generations, all were kind and considerate in every way. The hospitality of these people from the south of Crete is unsurpassed! We felt warm and cozy like in our own house!
