We loved all facility, all staff was amazing and Iro was amazing sharing with us some local experiences. Alex organized everything to rent a quad bike, or to reserve a restaurant with an amazing sunset view. All staff in breakfast, reception, bar, were amazing and super humble. Room was great, no noise, comfortable bed. We loved the opportunity to access another hotel with one of the best views in OIA. Food was amazing (buffet breakfast and lunch a la carte) It's in a quiet area, 15 minutes walking from village center, but if you rent a scooter or a quad bike it's 5 minutes. My advice, rent scooter or quad bike to visit the village close, it's beautiful too.

Located in the small village of Finikia, just outside the picturesque town of Oia, Finikia Memories Hotel is a traditional, family-run property featuring an outdoor swimming pool.
This was our best stay at Santorini even though it was just for a night. Unfortunately, we were not able to get more days at this place. The rooms are very well designed and comfortable. We stayed at 3 different places during our time is Santorini. Even though the other properties were between 2 - 4 times the cost here, they did not match the value for money at Finikia. You can easily reach Oia by walking 10 minutes and it is very well located.

Filotera Suites, Aspaki by Art Maisons, and Katikies Santorini - The Leading Hotels Of The World got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Oia.
I loved the beauty of the town and its traditional architecture. The famous views of the blue-domed churches, the windmills and the nearby islands, did not disappoint. There were also some superb restaurants to be appreciated. That said, Oia is an iconic destination, attracting large crowds. Those staying in the town were not a problem, but the busloads of people visiting for the day were a drawback. The commercial aspect of Oia, with its plethora of shops selling expensive jewellery has to be acknowledged, too. Getting around the town on foot is not difficult in terms of distance, but there are some steep cobblestone streets, sometimes with steps, rendering it less than ideal for those with restricted mobility.
Oia was the most beautiful place on Santorini to stay. Especially if you love the sunsets. Does get busy around sunset when bus loads of people come in, but pretty quickly they disappear once it’s finished. Restaurants were lovely and Ammoudi Bay was a big attraction to our family for the cliff jumping and swimming.
Oia really is hard to believe it's real unless you've been there and seen it for yourself. The stairs down to Amoudi Bay are everything you might expect and more. But navigating them is not for the unfit or faint of heart. They are true cobblestones that slant down - so when going down, you need to carefully navigate them to be sure you don't slip and fall. And going up is......exactly what you might think going up 200+ cobblestone steps up the side of a caldera might be. But so worth it! The main street of Oia is filled with wonderful little shops and restaurants. My one caution is the crowds, especially between about 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Cruise ships bring literally hoards of people and the streets are so narrow, and people are stopping and queuing up to try to take photos - if you are trying to navigate the main street and stairs within the vicinity during the late morning/mid-afternoon to early evening, plan on doing it slowly, packed with people, stopping and going single file. If you want to experience Oia in a less crowded way, do it before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
Oia is beautiful and unique and that’s why everyone goes there. After a couple days, the cruise ship crowds became aggravating. Once they left in the evening, Oia was enjoyable. Very neat place but extremely touristy! We spent four days which included travel to other towns on the island and Akrotiri. My suggestion is that if you enjoy privacy and smaller crowds, stay outside the main towns and rent a car. Eat where the locals eat. Then Santorini is wonderful! If you merely remains in Oia and Fira, it’s a tourist nightmare of constant lines of people who don’t was to buy anything, constantly complain, and state quite loudly that they just want to go back the cruise ship. Also all the people who are imitating everyone else and taking the popular Instagram Oia pics (blue domed church and such) are very annoying as they’ll just stop in the middle of hundreds of people on steep narrow streets. Not the place for me which is not a fault of Oia (locals and merchants were wonderful) it’s all of us tourists who ruin it through ignorance and poor manners.
Oia is amazing for a day, maybe 2. Get out before 9am and you will have free reign to the whole town for any picturesque spot you want. Afte 10am you will be waiting in lines to get to the best spots. 2 must do's if you have time, trek down to Amouti bay in your suit, hike around the point and jump off the island. Be sure to hit Dimitris for lunch when you're down swimming. The second must do is a sunset cruise, you will get views of the island liek you cannot imagine, and check the red sand and black sand beaches off the to do list.
We stayed in Finikia a 15-20 minute walk from Oia. It was a good way to avoid the bus/ taxi/ car parking of getting to Oia for the sunset but it was also away from many of the restaurants and activities that I think are best accessed from Fira. We actually enjoyed the Santorini sunset at Fira better than Oia - but we did get a great seat at Esperisma in Fira (book well ahead), whereas we were battling crowds for the view in Oia.
Staying at Oia Memories Suites made our first time on Santorini incredibly special. All the team were so welcoming and accommodating. We instantly relaxed in this cosmopolitan yet traditional hotel. The suites themselves are immaculate and tastefully styled, while situated in a stunning spot. We started the day with a lovely breakfast, delivered to our room which we highly recommend taking. We could also access the nearby hotel facilities including the pool which was an added bonus. Thank you to you all and warm wishes from Edinburgh!
a hidden oasis in busy Oia, if you came to Santorini for the views, this is it! this is the closest you’ll get to the perfect spot for sunset (literally people line up all hours of the day) but not you— here you have your own perfect spot. with an infinity pool. incredible staff like Jola, Fimi, Ali, and I can’t remember the chef’s name for lunch but the food is yummy!! here, you’re family. and you have private views of the caldera shared with only 12 other rooms. fresh breakfast prepared daily. Jola knows everything so ask her!!
Fantastic location. Family owned facility so you get to know them all. They go above and beyond as far as customer service. They will walk you around Oia and show you where to go, things to do, places to eat. Never been treated so well. If you get in a jam or have any problems while in Santorini, they will be there to assist with a smile. Room was very nice. Had terrace for everyone to watch the famous Oia sunsets and avoid the jam packed streets that time of day. Fantastic location. Fantastic people.
Nice view from the pool area, hotel is located about 25 min walking from Oia Center in Finikia, there is not public transport going to the hotel, only taxis or walking. Noisy and uncomfortable metal frame beds, also very disappointed when we came back late night that our dirty and wet towels wasn’t replaced.Breakfast needs an improvement, I had a better breakfast in a cheaper place in Santorini.Maria at the reception doing a great job, very helpful and kind person.
The best location in Santorini to watch the sunset. The staff went above and beyond. From picking us up From airport and transferring to the hotel, booking our ferries and helping with reservations to restaurants etc.. The owner Dimitri is so professional, friendly and welcoming. We had an incredible time in Santorini and it a lot to do with the outstanding treatment we received from Dimitri. Speaks perfect English which was very helpful.
Absolutely a beautiful place to stay at Oia Village. Closer to bus station, shops, restaurants, and the tourist attractions (ex. Blue Dome, sunset viewing, etc.) The Receptionist named Ana was very helpful to help you with driections around Santorini. The staffs are so nice especially Val who always cleans my room. Plus I get to have a free breakfast (buffet style). I give 5/5 stars! I highly recommend this hotel!
Oia
Everything was perfect during our stay. Our room was great and we’ve seen one of the best sunsets ever by the private pool. The hotel gave us the feeling of being isolated, while being 5 minutes away from Oia’s main street at the same time. Yiannis and Paz are really kind hosts, always suggesting nice places to go and making sure we would have the best time in Santorini. I highly recommend Aplada Suites.
Absolutely Beautiful place to stay. Staffs are very nice friendly, helpful and informative. Perfect location with private pool and jacuzzi for day and night. Just a few minutes walk away to Oia. Quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea and sunset view. Big clean rooms, Luxury but budget friendly 👌. love this place. We will surely stay here again next trip to Santorini ❤️
Oia
Great location, quite but next to the main street. Great sunset view in a private front yard. Large two-bedrooms apartment. Super friendly owner met you at the shuttle and a porter carried luggages to your room, vary convenient and easy. Price is very reasonable in super expensive Santorini and this hotel offers an unbeatable value.
Everything! The location was perfect, very close to Oía within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were so nice and comfortable, great views from the deck. Really recommended if you are going to Santorini!
This place is just outstanding! Is located in the most beautiful location in Oia with a beautiful sea view. The personnel is super friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to spend a romantic time in Santorini
