A dream stay! The location is excellent — very close to the beach, with a lovely pool perfect for relaxing. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and just like in the photos. A big bonus was the owner’s restaurant, Karavopetra — the food was absolutely delicious! The host was kind and attentive, and we felt very welcome. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

The hotel is a great choice for visiting with a baby or someone who prefers quiet vacation. You need to just cross a road for the beach, there is a great taverna right next to the hotel and enough space to park the car. You won’t need a car, unless you want to go for a walk in the town, everything essential is within 2 minutes. The hotel itself is renovated, the owners and staff(all family members) are very friendly and always smiled, definitely working with pleasure. And you can even have “пържени филийки” for breakfast if you order the night before. We recommend ground floor.

Amazing little village at the sea with a beach and a harbor.

Amazing little village at the sea with a beach and a harbor. You can do everything you possibly want in a family like setting - from renting a boat to historic sight seeing at Ancient Stagira, which has some breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea around it. A lot of sand beaches around and in the village, some quieter, others not so much - whatever you prefer. Food is amazing - there are a few restaurants on the main beach alley that serve exceptionally tasty fresh sea catch and homemade food. The only downside it has are the mosquitos, but if you buy a local repellent and use it after 6pm, it is very unlikely to get bitten at all.

Olympiada is a great place to visit with your family and kids. The beach is very nice with sand and shallow waters. there are very nice restaurants on the beach with very good food and amazing service.

We were very disappointed with our stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay. First of all, the hotel we were expecting was not the one we arrived at – during the email exchange, the property contacted us from Hotel Liotopi instead of Akroyali. This felt very misleading and tricky. Inside the hotel, there were two stray dogs, it was dirty, and the evenings were very noisy. The rooms were extremely small, with toilets and showers so tight that it was uncomfortable to use them. The beach situation was terrible. There were people (mainly Bulgarians) who left their towels and clothes on the sunbeds day and night to reserve their spots. Because of this, we had to walk a long way with our child just to find a free place. The beach itself was dirty, full of cats that used the sand as a toilet. Parking was also a nightmare. There is no parking near the hotel, so we had to leave our cars at the port or in the center of the village, and even then, finding a space was very difficult. Breakfast was another disappointment – you are served whatever they decide to prepare, with no choice at all. Overall, this was a really bad experience. I have traveled all over Greece, including the islands, and this is the very first place that has left me so disappointed. The food during dinner was very good, especially the seafood, which was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is located right by the beach, which made the dinners very pleasant and enjoyable. The only downside was that the service was quite slow when taking orders.

Cozy small beach area with rural aspect which is not yet affected by mass tourism. Nice old greek people Cleanish but could be improved. Lots of stray dogs and cats which live on the beaches area Very nice walking area by the beach and very kid friendly sea. Beach is different in some parts really good sand

Quiet place, perfect for families with little kids, not crowded even if we have been there in the middle of the season. A lot of tavernas around, and you could find very close everything you might need.

A quiet place with a wonderful beach, it has facilities that...

A quiet place with a wonderful beach, it has facilities that will satisfy everyone from parents with small children to the elderly. About 500 m away are the remains of the ancient city of Stagira (the birthplace of Aristotle), worth a visit (free entrance). Lots of good restaurants and cafes, butch bars. Not far from wonderful forests for hiking.

Excellent location where each house offers freshness, freedom and a very good visual and physical connection with the environment. The positioning is special and also the interior design and the scenery. Sandy & Peter are the perfect hosts. The good mood that they constantly spread, the discretion, the fine humor and their continuous efforts are exactly those essential ingredients for an ideal vacation. It is fully worth scheduling in advance for an exceptional stay at Garden Residence Olympiada !

Perfect location in a quiet village. Wonderful owner who knows how to treat her guests, including our dog. From the pleasantly decorated rooms and welcome drink, to the nice breakfast and excellent taverna for the dinner, the experience is very satisfying. We have visited this hotel 3 times already.

Amazing place. The apartments are big and have a big terrace. You have everything you need, and the owner takes care of the place. A very big public parking is in front of the hotel, and you can always park there for free. This is very convenient.
