Amazing place, great location, the staff was very kind, the hotel organize evenings with themes (such as greek night, barbecue night), the restaurant is delicious, their breakfast is a perfect way to start the day. There is a pool, a private parking, a bar with good cocktails, they broadcast sports events, the beachfront add a charm to this place. Best hotel to stay in the calm and relaxing Roda !

I really enjoyed the room with its private pool and sun loungers; it offered both privacy and the opportunity to spend some quiet time together. The delicious food, the incredibly friendly and always smiling cleaning lady, Christina, and the evening entertainment all ensured that we would have fond memories of our stay at the hotel. Christina was wonderful and very hospitable. She kept our room spotlessly clean and truly deserves special praise. I would also like to praise the bartender at the tennis court bar for his delicious iced coffee and for always being so cheerful and helpful.

Super beautiful garden and pool area, we loved staying at Ilena Hotel. Spacious apartment, even though we were 4 people in a 3 person apartment. A big thank you to Kyana for fitting us in, helping us with car rental and excursions,, and to Dimitris for all your help during our stay ❤️ Also thank you for your sweet present, we are looking forward to taste it at a special occasion 😊 We are definitely coming back 🙏😍

Great location, spacious complex on a gentle hill so all the apartments had lovely views. Very large apartment type accommodation. Good WiFi. Varied breakfast every day. Quite a few people staying but always quiet and peaceful. All staff were great. Felt like family. Pool was large and warm. Never any issues in getting a lounger. Town centre five min walk. Beach max ten min. Touristy Greek Night was good fun with tasty buffet. Fat e-bike rental just outside the hotel. Well worth taking one for the day to see the beaches and countryside.

A wonderful village high in the mountains of Corfu,...

A wonderful village high in the mountains of Corfu, abandoned in the 1950s, but now undergoing sensitive restoration. Excellent traditional tavernas and a shop selling local pottery, olive wood items and honey. Well worth the 20 minute drive from the coast. Take the turning opposite Ice Dream, a brilliant ice cream parlour with home made ice cream, frozen yoghurt and waffles.

Presently, slightly surreal, with so many dead and decaying,...

Presently, slightly surreal, with so many dead and decaying, Venetian styled stone-houses. But I guess this will change as the 'ghost-village' rebuilds itself. It may then lose a part of the character that is currently attracting visitors. But it will still be high in the mountains, still in the shadow of Pantokrator and its blasphemy of a telecommunications carbuncle, and still with all the peace and the space that goes with it, along with tavernas still serving rabbit stew; so leave your sun-beds and snorkels in Kassiopi, and take the long and winding road up to Perítheia. Or not. You could just stay on your sun-bed, finish that John Grisham and consider giving Hilary Mantel a go....

The small village of Old Peritheia has it's own magic and...

The small village of Old Peritheia has it's own magic and along with it a history, more recently the addition of the Merchants House is a perfect accompaniment to the already popular Tavernas. Very popular with tours during the day and in the evening a lively place to eat with it's own intimate atmosphere.
