The location of the hotel is perfect! In a very quiet marina. From the very roomy balcony we had a view of the beautiful Aegean Sea. The hotel has a parking, which was pretty empty when we were at the hotel, but the hotel clerk told us that in high season it's more difficult to find a parking spot. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities. All the public areas were also pristine, and the hotel has a very roomy lift to the floors. We would like to also highlight the responsiveness of the front desk clerk, who was very welcoming checking us in, and kind to our request of ceramic cups for coffee. The rooms are equipped with the Nespresso coffee machines, but there is only disposable paper cups provided. Nevertheless, the gentleman kindly and promptly brought us the cups up to the room. Sad that we didn't get a chance to ask for his name. We had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant and a breakfast the next morning. Both meals were superb, the atmosphere of the restaurant very warm and casual, and the employees were taking really good care of us, and were very amiable.

The hotel îs right on the beach so you wake up with a stunning view every morning. The rooms are big, bed is comfortable and it is clean. The staff comes every day to clean the room. The breakfast was fantastic every morning and you have lots of options, Lia, besides being a fantastic and helpful host, she is a great cook. The entire staff is helpful and friendly, the service was always great and their restaurant has wonderful dishes. All in all, I would definitely come back!

Excellent idea with dinner at the location for only 10 euros per day per person. An extra appreciation for the owner of the hotel who, on one of the days when we wanted to go by taxi, given the fact that we could not find taxis available, offered to drive us where we needed. Platamonas is a great town to visit.

Platamonas is a great town to visit. Everything is centralized along the waterfront with great restaurants, shops, pharmacies and everything else within easy reach. The streets are kept very clean and the evenings provide a nice family atmosphere to walk, dine and get a gelato. The beaches are nice, with lidos to pay for an umbrella and lounges, or a free beach very close by. English is spoken at almost every shop, hotel and restaurant and I found nothing but curtesy in every transaction.

A super unique place across Greece, combining high altitude...

A super unique place across Greece, combining high altitude vegetation with long pebble beaches overlooking the Aegean Sea. Under the feet of Olympus & super close to the Heritage Village of Palaios Panteleimon. Platamonas is a great place to combine relaxing beach holidays coupled with sight seeing exploration and mountain strolls under Olympus mountain. Night life is also vibrant along the various beach clubs.

I would definitely recommend Platamonas.

I would definitely recommend Platamonas. Not for the beach though. We were with young kids, so we chose to drive for a couple of minutes to Nei Pori to go to the beach, and came back to Platamonas for lunch and dinner. We highly recommend the restaurants in the port for fish and seafood.

One of the best cities in the region, with a range of...

One of the best cities in the region, with a range of activities available. Picturesque villages surrounding it, a lot of beautiful beaches, and the highest mountain of the country for hiking lovers. What else could you ask for! Really impressed!

We have stayed here before and love it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and central location. Easy parking outside/out of season. The gentleman remembered us from our previous visit. Lots of Restaurants/Cafes around and a few shops. Very close to the beach. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas available at the various restaurants around. Parking would be tight in season. They make great coffee and drinks in the hotel cafe!

We stayed here for a few days before traveling somewhere else in Greece for a wedding, we specifically chose Nikis as it almost direct on the water, not from the main strip for restaurants, bars, etc., but also very quiet. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the host was extremely friendly.

This hotel is basically a cliffside villa in a gorgeous setting. The view and the kindness of the staff makes up for the small things which could be improved, but all in all you get a calm atmosphere, az amazing beach and friendly staff for a good price.
