It has the cleanest Agios Isidoros beach, which remains wave...

It has the cleanest Agios Isidoros beach, which remains wave-free despite the strong winds blowing from behind the island's mountains and is not crowded even at the end of July. It can be reached from the Port in about 40 minutes by car via mountain roads. If you want to go to the center and back in the evenings, you need to leave the beach early. Or you must get used to eating late, just like they do. Everything is available in Plomari, but having a car is a must. You can visit the Barbayanni Ouzo Museum, which produces with traditional methods, get information about the story of the brand and the family, and do some shopping. Thanks to our host's recommendation, V'ammos Beach Club and Kafenéon Restaurant in Agios Isidoros became our favorite places.

Untouched by tourism, genuine Greek environment with a lovely town and harbour, lots of restaurant's but if you wanted to see more then hire a car, if not, perfect for a relaxed stress free holiday just to unwind.

Worth seeing for some nice beaches or coves around, and going to some nice restaurants. It doesn't seem to retain the old character the way it probably used to, and yet it doesn't offer the vibrancy and / or cultural dynamism that are typical of many other centres on the island (Mytilene, Sigri, Molyvos). It is a bit of a sleepy place, stripped of the working class identity it must have had, and currently seemingly attempting to attract a new wave of tourism that is in a more extractive and shallow mode. It has a lot of potential though, and hope it finds itself and its unique quality again.

This is a wonderful hotel located right outside the center...

This is a wonderful hotel located right outside the center of Plomari. It's about a 10 min walk to the main area. Hermes, the host, is incredibly friendly and looking out for each guest's needs. The views from each room are incredible and the rooms are spacious, clean, and lovely. There is a small beach right next to the hotel that is semi-private. I was incredibly pleased with Frini Studios and recommend it highly.

Plomari is picturesque and retains the traditional architecture of the Aegean. It suits especially tourists that prefer less noisy holidays, nice food at seafront taverns and endless amphitheatric views to the sea. It can also serve as a base for various excursions to seaside and mountain villages and spots.

The fabulous hosts Eleni and Dimitri went out of their way to help us get to the property from Mytilini. We were so impressed with the renovated studio that had every amenity you need and more and very clean. Very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The fridge had juice, cheese, water etc, and three choice of coffees. The location was 20 metres from the front street of the town centre. We were helped with the best restaurants to eat and where everything is located in Plomari. Will stay again.

The location of the studios are great. You are close to Plomari yet you are in a quiet area. You can walk to the restaurants in 15 minutes. You can swim in a nice bay some steps down from Frini. You will be hosted by Hermes who has great hospitality and kindness. He takes care of everything, gives you great suggestion on where to go and even makes your dinner reservations! Thank you for everything Hermes! We’ll definitely come back.

The family room was great, spacious and clean. It had a really nice balcony with a sea view. The hotel is really close to a nice beach just a few meters away. Definitely recommend it to families. A big thank you to Maria, who was really nice and helped us.

What a lovely family owned hotel! The owners were truly welcoming and helpful. I traveled alone and they made sure I felt taken care of. The room was clean and beds comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again❤️
