This place is an oasis of peace. Located at a generous altitude that offers a splendid view of Lake Kerkini, the guesthouse enchants you with its authentic architecture (stone, wood), with its warm atmosphere, and especially with the kindness and attention of the hosts. The room was clean and airy, the linens impeccable, the bathroom clean and equipped with everything needed (hygiene items, seven towels). The evening was wonderful. The courtyard is set up as an outdoor terrace with a panoramic view, starry sky and ambient music. Rich breakfast, served at the table. I was delighted by the cheese and spinach pie, prepared by the hosts themselves, served hot, as well as the Greek coffee.

The hotel is located in the quiet village of Kato Paroia. Our room was very spacious, and full of extra surprises like the sauna and the jacuzzi. The swimming pool is another great option that can be very useful especially in a period when the ambient temperature reaches 38+ degrees Celsius. The whole experience of living in one of Epavlis Hotel’s rooms is something unique and refreshing. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and feel close to nature!

If you love nature and photography, book this place immediately! The location is unbeatable – literally on the lakeside, perfect for early morning bird photography. The house itself is immaculate, beautifully decorated, super comfy bed and a bathroom that’s cleaner than most hotels. Fast internet, Netflix on TV, very nice and hotthanks to hearers everything you need after a day outside. Our host was wonderful: warm, helpful and full of local knowledge. Best value for money in Kerkini.

Charmingly rennovated old house in a beautiful greek village overlooking the Kerkini lake. Three balconies to enjoy sunrise and sunset. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you may need. Our host was very helpful and responsive. The area is amazing - you can hike on Belles, bike to the Doiran lake or rent a birdwatching trip in Kerkini.

This is a cozy little house (one of the oldest houses in the village as we were told by the owner) that is beautifully renovated with a nice, big garden area. It has everything you need for a nice stay for a couple of days. The village of Kirkini is a calm place and you can reach the bars and restaurants in a couple of minutes by walking. The appartment is nicely equipped and we were also given some cookies, chocolate spread, nut butter and honey for breakfast which was such a nice little touch - besides of the coffee that was available at the appartment. If you are looking for a calm place to stay, listen to the sounds of nature, gaze at the stars and enjoy the calm vibe of the village while feeling warmly welcome by the local people - then we can only recommend this place. P.S.: it also had AC and the mosquito tabs. They really thought of everything!
