The hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, a very pleasant couple. Responses to our queries throughout our stay were almost immediate and they also sent recommendations on where to visit including a lovely restaurant in Thessaloniki when we we passing through on the way to our next location. The apartment we very well stocked with essentials and other items. We arrived late in the evening and not having to find somewhere open to buy things was really appreciated. There were the usual like eggs, tea bags, bread, etc but other items such as olive oil, fruit, homemade marmalade, etc. The apartment had everything we needed so it was a happy stay in Tirnavos. We chose the location of Tirnavos because it was roughly one hour from the monasteries in Meteora in one direction and similar distance to the Mount Olympus National Park in the other direction. Both of these are a must if you stay in the Thessaly area. The town of Tirnavos is a pleasant place and exactly what we like to see the real way of life in a different culture as oppose to a tourist area. It is surrounded by hills and driving to places not on toll roads is more scenic and only take a little longer than using the toll roads.

Everything. One of the best houses I've stayed in in my entire life. Amazingly welcoming and talented hostess. Free pottery lessons. :) Unobtrusive souvenir shop. Huge territory. Wine house in a town nearby.

This was a first class hotel. The room was perfect, the staff were perfect. The breakfast was varied and ample with many choices from eggs bacon and sausages, cereal, cold meat, cheeses and salad. Pastries sweet and. Cheese and spinach. Coffee, tea and juice available. Not stopping there the restaurant is open during the day for purchasing of meals and coffee. Tea and coffee available in our room as well as a fridge. Parking available underground, via a lift to -1 and -2 below the hotel it’s pretty compact down there. We paid extra 5€ a day to reserve a parking spot. Stree parking was very busy and in some streets there was double parking. I highly recommend this hotel

- The hotel does live up to its rating of 5-star with their service alone. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. - They arranged a breakfast box, well packed, for me as I had to check-out before breakfast. Ensured I was ready by giving me a wake-up call as requested and had a taxi ready for me without having to wait even a minute. - The bathroom was well equipped with any and every toiletries one might need. - The room while comfortable could use a remodeling/renovation. - the hotel has a gym and a spa. - The location is excellent. It is in the heart of the city with numerous cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
