the church of saint basilica in the town Centre is absolutely amazing to see. The cafe and night life scene is fantastic. The people everywhere were friendly. The food options for 5 star and very cost effective. The centre gate way to base yourself for everything in the Peloponese, making wherever you want to go less than 1.5 hours. Tripolis the centre of Arcadian history. Sparta 35min drive, kalamata 40min, amazing archeological sites everywhere. In Tripolis everyone is treated as a local not a tourist. Best of all you MUST go to the ancient village of ALEA TEGEA one of greeces best kept secrets, authentic museums and temple of Athena. It's only a short drive there from Tripolis - 10mins and get in touch with real authentic Arcadian culture and history.

Only spent a night as part of a longer trip.

Only spent a night as part of a longer trip. Was not expecting much, but the town was much, but Tripoli was quite charming. Had a fantastic dinner at a cozy, fun restaurant, and could have spent more time exploring the town, shops, and bars. It was a nice surprise, worth checking it out again.

I visited at Christmas and the city was beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was family friendly. There were Christmas lights in every square and a craft market. The restaurants were fantastic and the people very friendly. I loved Saint Basil Holy Orthodox Church. There was snow on the mountains and it felt like Christmas without being too cold!

Very quite city. Find restaurants easy. Access to the bus station and taxis. Mountains and beach within 30 minutes by car. Few museums and churches, parks and gardens. Convenience walking to the shops and plenty of cafes. Enjoy every moment!

I can't say much about Tripoli because I only spent one...

I can't say much about Tripoli because I only spent one night there. But I fell in love with the apartment Diamerisma 65. So spacious, clean, and convenient. The lady who takes care of it offered us plenty of sympathy and… a full bowl of delicious cherries!

Beautiful new and well appointed apartment with a lot of space for a family of 4. The host was very responsive and provided many thoughtful extra touches to make our stay more comfortable. The apartment is located a 5 min walk from Aeros square and has many neighborhood amenities nearby. We did not have a problem finding street parking even during Easter weekend. We would definitely book this residence again next time we are in Tripoli.

Lovely hotel with a stunning view of the countryside. Staff were helpful, kind and attentative. This hotel deserves its rating, and if in the area again, we would be very happy to stay. Travellers need to book early as it is very popular. Restaurant has superb food and sell delightful, high-quality, loyally produced wine. A visit to this wineyard]l) can be arranged by the hotel and a must go visit
